In this festival, a sister ties a special thread called "rakhi" on the wrist of her brother(s) and gives them blessing.
While a brother gives his sister(s) a gift and promises to always protect her and keep her safe.

How did Raksha Bandhan started?
It is believed that lord Krishna had hurt his finger and Draupadi-the wife of pandavas in mahabharat who had a strong bond with lord Krishna and thought of him as a brother-cut a piece of her saree, a traditional Indian dress, to tie around his finger as a bandage.

And he literally washed the cup and made and gave me my first coffee in that coffee mug himself... Well granted I told him to give me my coffee in that coffee mug only (which btw he denied to me but he did it nonetheless) And also granted that my mum told him to make the coffee...
But he did it sooooo....
