Naruto's POV

I was closing up the coffee shop until my phone vibrated inside my hand bag, I took it out quickly and I can see it was Ino. I smiled as I answered it.

"Hey Ino, what's up?," I asked as I walked back towards my car and got inside. It was the evening just 20:34pm.

"Hey Naru, your older brother Kurama is here," she said and I sighed leaning back against my seat. What does Kurama want now and I hope he's not going to lecture me about my future and getting a decent job.

"Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes," I said starting my car.

"Okay," she said cheerfully and hung up. I sighed as I drove back towards the apartment. I bet dad sent Kurama over to talk some sense into me. I rolled my eyes, my dreams don't matter to him anyway.

After a few minutes, I made it to the apartment I shared with Ino. I parked my car and walked towards the elevator pressing the button to my floor. I reached my floor and walked towards my door and walked through the door.

I found Hinata, Ino and my brother sitting on the half circle couch just chatting and drinking wine, all of them in their pajamas, well, except for Kurama who was in his black suit and navy blue button up shirt with no tie.

"Kurama, what are you doing here?," I asked setting my bag down greeting Hinata and Ino as I joined them on the couch.

"Well hello to you too lil bro, I missed you so much," he said sarcastically, smiling at me. I rolled my eyes getting up and giving him a hug," There we go, that's more like it," he hugging me tightly, I pulled away after a few moments.

"Okay, so what are you doing here?," I asked looking at him.

"I just came to check up on you Kit, dad has been telling me that you gave up on your dream of becoming a doctor," he said and I rolled my eyes.

"He told you that, seriously?," I asked unbelievably," and being a doctor isn't my dream. I want to be a baker," I said with a smile and he looks at me strangely.

"Naru, we'll be in my room if you need us," Ino said setting her wine glass down getting up and Hinata followed her lead. I watched them walk away.

"But you know that father wants the best for you, he's trying to protect you and making sure you have a secure career," he said trying to make me see reason," Naruto, you are a smart person and you graduated top of your class and you already had job offers at top hospitals. Why did you turn them down?," He asked and I sighed getting up.

"Kurama you don't understand, I'm not passionate of becoming a doctor. I want to become a baker, I want to make cakes and pastries okay. I want to be creative, this is my life, I can live it however I want and make my own choices. I'm grown Kurama, I'm capable of making my own decisions, I'm not a little kid anymore. Why can't you and Dad support me in this?," I asked looking at my older brother.

He sighed getting up, walking towards me putting his large hands on my shoulders," we are just trying to look out for you, but if baking is what you really want to do Kit, then I'll support you. I'll try to make dad see reason," he said with gentle eyes," I love you," he said and I smiled wrapping my arms around his waist putting my head against his muscled chest.

"I love you too, and don't worry about me. I got this," I said softly against his chest. He sighed holding onto me.

"I hope you are right," he said worriedly and we pulled away," And I have met someone. I'm planning on proposing soon," he said and my eyes widened. He chuckled putting his hands inside his pockets.

"Who are they Kurama?!, Oh my gosh I'm so excited to meet them. You don't date much Kurama so this is big, it's huge actually," I said and he laughed patting my head.

"It's going to be a surprise, I'm planning on announcing it on Monday. I want to see your guys reactions," he said with a big grin on his face. I pouted folding my arms.

"You're no fun," I whined and he chuckled.

"What about you, are seeing someone? And if you are, I'd probably have to break their arm," he said in the most serious voice. My eyebrows rose.

"Why?," I asked confused.

"You're too young to date," he said in a deadpan look.

"I'm twenty years old thank you very much and I can date whenever I want," I said looking up at my brother.

"Yeah Kit, keep telling yourself that. I have to go, I'm sure my other half is waiting for me," he said with a smirk and walked towards the door grabbing his shoes and I smiled fondly at my brother.

"I'll see you later then," I said softly and he just winks at me walking out the door. I sighed sitting back down on the couch, leaning against it.

"Hey," I looked up at my two best friends, they are smiling down at me. Ino holding a wine bottle. I smiled as they set down on either sides of me.

"Hey," I said softly, Ino poured me a glass.

"How was work?," Hinata asked with a smile. I took a sip from my drink.

"Hectic, and I really want to cut loose. It's a Friday for crying out loud," I said and they laughed.

"What about we go out tomorrow, there's this extravagant club that just opened a few months ago, I think we can go and check it out," Ino suggested.

"Okay, sounds like a plan to me," I said with a smile.

"Then it settled, tomorrow night we are going clubbing," Hinata said with a smile and we laughed raising our wine glasses.
