Psychopath

In shadows deep, a complex mind does dwell,
A psychopath they say, a label worn,
Yet in her arms, I find a gentle spell,
A refuge in the storm that's often borne.

Through prison bars of doubt, her gaze does pierce,
Seeking a glimpse of warmth within my gaze,
Behind those eyes, can love and grace disperse,
Unveiling light within these darkened maze.

Can love find comfort in a heart like mine?
A psychopath's abyss, a dark domain,
Yet even in the depths, a love may shine,
A fragile bloom, a spark that can't be slain.

For even in the depths where mystic shadows creep,
Love's potential lies, buried yet not asleep.
