Mortal Melancholy

Yet life, dear friend, holds vibrant art,
With hues that dance and heal the heart.
For in each breath, we find release,
An ode to moments, pure and ceaseless.

The laughter shared, the touch of grace,
The love that kindles hearts aflame,
In living's realm, we find a trace,
Of beauty's touch, a sacred name.

Life's dangers arise in manifold disguise,
A ceaseless torrent, caught in the world's surmise.
From love's betrayal to ambitions unmet,
Life weaves its tapestry, a tangled duet.

But amidst the danger, a flicker of hope,
A resilient spirit that helps us to cope.
For in life's perilous dance, we learn and grow,
Discovering strength we never thought we'd know.

Ambitions soar, like eagles high above,
But dreams can crash, engulfed by ruthless love.
In pursuit of glory, we brave the unknown,
But success can bring a burden of its own.

But Living, oh living, a turbulent sea,
Where dreams are shattered, hopes set free.
I sought for treasures, yet found but air,
And empty echoes of unanswered prayer.

In sphere, where thoughts of stillness dwell,
Where silence whispers tales untold,
The soul finds solace, a farewell,
To turbulent life, we oft behold.

But Death, oh Death, it beckons me near,
Promising respite from life's veneer.
No more to chase illusions blind,
No more to bear what I cannot find.

No more the ceaseless march of time,
No more the trials that leave us torn,
In death's embrace, we find sublime,
A respite from the world forlorn.

And when the final hour does chime,
May peace prevail, our spirits free,
In death's sweet calm, a lullaby,
To rest in whirl of eternity.

So let me rest, where silence dwells,
Where nothingness in solace swells.
For Death, my friend, I seek your embrace,
To find the quietude that living couldn't trace.

And navigate its maze, embracing life till death...
