The company party was booming to life, the music was casual and everyone seemed to be having a good time guzzling down liquor on the company's dime. It was a little awkward that Marcus had brought a new girl to the party, most knowing that Marcus was in a relationship with Serin. the new server who latched onto his arm was a aware of this as well but she didn't care. They had been flirting for months now but the staff kept quiet not wanting to get involved.
It didn't involve them so they didn't really want to get involved. They knew that Serin would arrive soon and they figured there could never be enough alcohol to get through this. Honestly most of the staff didn't like that Serin dated Marcus, he was very manipulative but they had no place to intervene. Keeping it secret was better for the company and kept the drama down.
The doors soon opened, dread filling them when they heard Serin's voice. What they saw on the other hand was Serin latched on to a very handsome man wearing a solid black fitted suit that hugged his muscular body. Serin himself wore a matching floor length sweetheart dress, slits on each side showing off the curve of his feminine legs. He wore a set of platforms as well that made him just as tall as the demon on his arm. His makeup was dramatic shades of maroon that matched his curls. This was something that they hadn't seen from the boy since Marcus asked him out after they rekindled their relationship.
The group had to admit the new couple looked very good together and outshined the others in their casual sundresses and button up shirts and cheesy novelty ties. Serin was always eccentric and honestly Marcus hated the attention.
The shorter man watched Astaroth offer Serin a glass of wine while he enjoyed a beer. He was angry that someone else would touch Serin despite him being the one unfaithful but what made him feel worse was watching the demon pull him in for a kiss.
"They are all looking" Serin said, cheeks burning as he sips his drink. Astaroth's arm never left his waist, white eyes looking over his human. Serin looks around eyes landing on Marcus who looked like he was going to blow a fuse. He was shocked that he felt nothing for the man, the hurd had long subsided, instead he turned back to Astaroth who cupped his chin.
"Let them look, you are my pretty boy" Astaroth grinned pressing their lips together again. Serin was so in the moment, savoring the taste of cheap beer on his demon's lips. Their moment was spoiled when Serin felt cold liquid run down his back. He turned around to see his coworker who accompanied marcus holding a wine glass.
The room was deathly silent and Astaroth looks like he wanted to tear her apart. Serin rests his hand on the taller entity's chest to calm him. The redhead casually finishes his glass before picking up a full bottle. He refilled his glass before casually pouring the contents on the new server. She started in shock and the coworkers had to hold.hack a laugh. When finished he turned to Marcus, sipping from his glass before sloshing it in the shorter man's face. He moved to hit the redhead only to be kicked in the nuts by his Ex's platforms. He fell to his knees as Serin and Astaroth made their way outside to the garden. The place their company rented was rather nice so why not enjoy the beauty.
Music played over the outdoor speakers and the gazebo was lit up in lights. Serin held Astaroth close and they both began to sway. He looked into those beautiful white eyes and he swore he was in heaven.
"I think I am in love with you" Serin's words made Astaroth's heart flutter. He stopped completely, looking into those blue eyes for any sign that he was joking before giving a big goofy smile. His fangs were visible at this point and Serin felt his lips curling up to mirror the Demon. Astaroth surprised the redhead by dipping him and stealing a long kiss.
"It is a good thing I love you too" Serin wanted to cry he was so happy and just held on tight, afraid that of he let go this perfect man would disappear. He never wanted to let Astaroth go and he was glad the feelings were mutual.
Just as their moment came to an end the loud sound of the door slamming open and two sets of footsteps marching close. Before Marcus or his date could say anything Astaroth turned around, demonic eyes and horns poking out. His fake skin begins to peel away showing what he truly looked like.
The two troublemakers turned ghost white, falling backwards in fear as the demon storms closer, height climbing back to the eight foot tall monster that he was. The duo stumbled over each other before running away in fear leaving the couple. Astaroth smirks, satisfied with himself as he morphs back into his disguise. Receiving a kiss from the redhead. "I love you"
