Just let me sleep on the stars
and let me dream of all the things
that could have been,
and things
that were not meant to be.
Let me rest far away from the pain
this planet has bestowed on me
Let me go home to a place
where I can find peace.
Just let me sleep on the stars,
just for a bit,
just until I found a little comfort to carry on.
