A/N: Helpp I'm really invested in this story, causeee...

Even though most players are unknown, and I don't write about their deaths, I literally made a plan for when each player is tracked and who survives and who dies.

And then, also in the last 25 minutes, who dies at that time.

Question for you all, though: Who do you all think the King of Hearts is?

Onto the story~~~

Kuragari and I spend a few more moments catching our breath at the dead end.

After the panic subsides, a sharp pain in my side hits me, and I groan, clutching my torso.

Shit.

Looking down at my shirt, I see the blood seeping through the white fabric.

Kuragari seems to notice this too, as he crouches down next to me.

"Can I?" He asks, nodding his head at the wound.

I nod after a few seconds and watch as he slowly peels my shirt away from my wound, lifting it up slightly to inspect the damage.

Even though I feel a bit uncomfortable, I know he is just trying to help.

So, I let him.

This is better than getting it infected.

"It's not too deep, so I don't think it's too bad. Just try to find something to treat it with when we get out of this game..." He tells me, standing up again.

I watch as he starts ripping off the bottom of his loose shirt.

After doing so, he crouches back down.

"Sorry, it's not a great bandage, but it's everything we've got and... the best I can manage." He apologizes, chuckling because of the last part.

"It's alright. Thank you for doing this, Kuragari." I tell him as he starts wrapping the makeshift bandage around my torso, fastening it.

"Alright. That should do it." He informs me, and I pull down my blood-stained shirt.

I look down at my bracelet.

"Let's start finding our way through the maze again. We can't waste any more time." I tell Kuragari.

He nods.

"And tell me when you're being tracked. So that we can be prepared." I continue.

***

Time passes quickly as Kuragari and I make our way through the maze.

The safezone feels closer and closer every turn, and I know that we can make it through this game together.

We aren't as quick as we were in the beginning, though, with exhaustion and my wound slowing us down a bit.

But still, I think we are doing pretty well.

I look down at my wristband, wanting to check the time.

I really do hope that we are on the right path.
