Aria's POV
I stood opposite my dad teary eyed, fighting back the angry sob that wanted to come free. I looked at him. We used to look so much alike before this crazy wolf thing happened. He pulled me into a tight embrace resting his chin on my head. Even though I'd grown a few inches since "the change" I was still a short ass.
He let me go and examined my face, taking in all my features as I was his.
"You're so beautiful Aria. God, you look just like your mother." I didn't neccessarily agree with this statement seeing as I'd never seen a proper picture of my mom. I just smiled and thanked him.
"I'm going to have to hurry you Rob we still have to get through security and knowing my luck." David gave both of us an awkward smile. He was gorgeous but taken.
"I love you dad. I'm sorry for being so harsh on you I understand why you kept it from me. Please make sure to come visit me, i'll make you proud." I kissed him on the cheek.
"You'll always make me proud no matter what."
A final tear dropped from my face leaving behind what I used to know and now I was walking towards what was my future.

Mike's POV
"Baby are you sure you're okay." Madison crooned over me stroking my arm.
"Yes Maddie i'm fine, I promise." I planted a kiss on her lips reassuring her that everything was fine and that there was absoloutely nothing to worry about.
"Okay, well if you're sure then I'm going to go to work." I glared at her. She smiled, picked up her purse and left.
Me, Quinn and Marcus sat around the table awkwardly not saying a word until Madison left. Quinn was the first to hear the click of the door closing thanks to his amazing wolf senses.
"Okay dude, what in the hell was that." Quinn pointed to my bandage that I was pressing to my neck where blood had erupted from earlier.
"I don't know Quinn. I honestly don't. I've never experienced anything like that before. It was like...dying and then being brought back to life."
I decided to spare some details, Quinn could get a little theatrical now and again. Marcus sat at the table arms crossed across his chest staring at me.
"Dude, you're totally eye-fucking me right now. What's up." I asked with humour in my voice. Usually Marcus would laugh and snap out of it but not this time.
"I don't know why you're finding this humourous. It's clear those are vampire bites Mike."
Quinn and I tensed up when Marcus spoke this so freely. Yes, it was clear they were vampire bites. No, it I didn't know how they got there.
"Yeah I can see that smartass. How the fuck did they get there? Do you have a logical explenation cause I sure as hell don't!" I yelled at Marcus. I didn't mean for it to come across so violent but I didn't like it when he stated the obvious.
"Did you feel anything weird when THIS happened? Like did you feel a connection with someone else?"
Marcus went back to eye-fucking me his emerald eyes boring into mine. Yes, I did feel someone else but I wasn't going to tell him that.
