I was nervous. New job. New stress. I was walking into the building and went to the locker area. Got my stuff and got dressed. Then I nt up to daycare. I only worked day hours, they didn't recommend full time or night hours for new employees.
"Wehlp. Here I go..." I hated first days so much, but I had to get a job. My small apartment wasn't gonna cut it. And it had some reached, and spiders, and- I needed that job. The roller door was open so, I just went in. My senses said 'oh holy fuck nah' I hated how colorful everything was. It was way too bright, I had a little bit of a sensory overload. But I took a deep breath, and sucked it up. I saw the slide, and he'll yeah! I didn't have much of a good childhood, so anything child like I kinda loved. Just not the children being there part. I ran towards the slide, completely ignoring the huge gold statue and went down. I looked around somehow used to how bright it was, admiring everything around me. I was in a ball pit, and there were huge play structures. And then I noticed a balcony. I moved towards it a little but, and I bright yellow and red tall robot. Or was it anamatronic? I don't know. Then it cam in the ball pit with me. 'Hell no.' I tried to get away but then I got pulled up from the ball pit and turned around in to a breath taking hug, literally.
"OH NEW FRIEND! YOUR TALLER THAN THE OTHERS. ARE YOU MY NEW CO-WORKER?!" OW. My. Ears. Hurt.
"WHATS YOUR NAME? Y/N, SO PRETTY! AND SO IS YOUR H/C AND E/C!" I had such a headache, I could puke.
"D-d-ow-wn-n pl-"
"IM SO SORRY Y/N!" He immediately set me down, I hadn't gotten a good look at him, but the room was still spinning. I had tried to stay standing but I fell on to my butt. The world stopped spinning and I saw him. He was kinda cute, AGH WHAT AM I THINKING?! HE IS MY CO-WORKER! AGHH! CALM DOWN. I need to stop.
"It's okay, wait!" He tilted his head.
"I didn't catch your name." He pirked up.
"WELL NEW FRIEND! MY NAME IS SUNDROP, BUT THE KIDS CALL ME MR. SUN." He was so loud. But I guess get used to it.
"Good to know! I'll just call you Sun, only if that's okay." He grinned, even more than he already did.
"Of course!" He toned down a lot. He was so loud, but now quieter. I think he could tell that my ears hurt.
"Can you show me around?" And he nodded excitedly and grabbed my hand and showed me around. I couldn't help but blush and smile.
