Bright Daylight (Sun x reader)

"Go away, Liam."

Starting off w Sunny POV! :p :>

I listened close to Vanessa's words, then I went back to Y/n. Y/n was eating some of the crackers Vanessa gave for food. Y/n set the crackers down, and layed back down. They looked so tired. I didn't want anyone disturbing my sunlight. They need rest, znd thatxs the only thing that can help them. I went over to Y/n, znd got on my knees to be at their level. I brushed hair out of their face, and smiled at them warmly with a look of worry mixed in.
"You'll be alright, my sunshine. I'll get you through this."

I had to go take care of children all day. For the first time, I didn't like it much. The children didn't notice, but they did notice that
Y/n wasn't here today.
"Mx./Ms./Mr. Y/n got a little sick, but they'll be good as new soon!" Was my excuse, and the truth. At some point, Liam came over. I did NOT want to deal with him today. At all even! I hoped he'd just get fired, or something worse. Those were more of my brother's thoughts, but they became mine when Liam, Cole, or Foxy came around.
I ignored Liam, for the most part, and I went to visit sunlight.
"Hey sunlight? How are you doing?" Y/n yawned tiredly, and fixed their hair. Liam followed me, and tried to come over to Y/n.
"Liam, Y/n is sick, so leave them alone." Liam didn't listen, and moved past me
"Hey Y/n~, I heard you're sick. Do you want me to-"
"Go away, Liam." Y/n remarked. I don't think they wanted to be around other humans today. Liam glared at me and tried to keep his composure. He left, and I was left to my precious sunbeam. I pulled Y/n close, and stroked their hair.
"Sunny?" Y/n called softly.
"Yes, sunshine?" I asked as I sat down and proped them up.
"Could we... cuddle?" Y/n's eyes were sparkling with hope. I felt myself blush as I looked at them. I nodded, smiled warmly, and pulled Y/n close. WHIRRR Y/n smiled softly and leaned their head on my chest. The whirring got a bit louder. It was most likely brown noise or something to Y/n, because they fell asleep instantly. I stroked their hair and kissed their head. This was the perfect dream, that was finally real- just not the Y/n being sick part. I closed my eyes, and slowly drifted off to sleep with Y/n close and warm.
