Y/n's New Attention Stealing Friend (Pt. 1)

"I'm Liam, the second assistant daycare worker. I just got hired." I looked him up and down, not trusting him one bit. Liam walked closer and shook my hand. He looked eager to start. I shrugged and showed him around. I told him what he needs to do for his job, what we play on doing today, and who I was and who Sun was. I made him his own space under the counter so we both could hide during nap time. I forgot about Sun for a while.

Liam and I talked for a while until the kids came i , we even exchanged phone numbers/didgets. Liam looked nice from my view now. I trusted him a bit, and we we're chill now. Sun definitely tried to get my attention, but I didn't notice at all. Liam was stealing my attention, and I didn't seem to mind listening to him. The children loved his stories, and I laughed at some. We had a close call with a word. I quickly made up a lie and said it meant "cuddling". I whacked Liam upside the head and lectured him about being careful with our words. Then we both laughed and made up nonsense words. It got to naptime, and we both got in our hiding stop and we started texting and listening to music.

⊙▪︎Liam POV▪︎⊙:

God, Y/n. Such a perfect name for a perfect person. I wonder if they're single. Sundrop is so jealous, this is a perfect opportunity. I will make Y/n mine. Got they're hot. I knew I could woo Y/n, such an easy target.

☆♤Sun POV☆♤:

'Moon, I do not trust Liam. He gives me bad vibes and he's taking Y/n away from me.'
Sunny, I see what you mean. I've been watching through your eyes the entire time, and I did a scan on the guy. He is not safe for Y/n.
After that talk with moon, I tried to talk to Y/n, but Liam swept them away to something. He even mentioned something adults do that isn't supposed to be mentioned to children! Y/n had to give a good save and said that... uhm... that... that b@nging meant cuddling... I don't know what that means, but that is definitely not it means.

A while later, everyone went to the theater, and we did karaoke. Liam basically sang a love song to Y/n, and Y/n chuckled softly. They looked so happy with Liam singing to them. I never felt more jealous. Moon kept trying to calm me down, but nothing was working. Liam and the children started encouraging Y/n to si g, but they really didn't want to. I was about to say something, then Liam grabber their hand, put a hand on their back, and got Y/n on stage. Y/n definitely did NOT like that one bit.
Y/n has stage fright, and I was the only one that could see that. Liam played 'Find Me Somebody To Love', and Y/n fidgeted. I tried getting on stage to help Y/n, but Liam stopped me. I glared at him and my rays went out more than they usually did. Liam glared back. We got interrupted by singing, Y/n singing...

□♧Y/n POV□♧:

I started shakily singing, Liam, the children, and Sun's eyes all on me. I hadn't sang anything since... signed I broke up with my last boyfriend...
"O-OH! Somebody, (somebody), somebody, can anybody find me-e, somebody to lo-o-ove!" Everyone looked amazed, but I didn't feel any confidence. I looked at Sun, and he was blushing, and his pupils were literally stars. I blushed softly and kept singing.
"DANCE!" Liam cheered. I felt uncomfortable already, and I really didn't want to. The children cheered with Liam, and I felt like passing out. I also felt like I was about to throw up. Not pleasant. Sun tried to get on stage, but Liam kept him back. I felt the throw up in my throat. The song ended and I ran off stage and to the bathroom. I closed the door behind me and I tied my hair back as best as I could. I really felt like I was about to hurl.
