Bright Daylight (Sun x reader)

"You did WHAT?!"

Finally back to lé og pov, Y/n's pov. :)

I wake up, drousy, feeling like I had a cold/covid, and being in someone arms. My vision is still blurry from just waking up. I tried to move my arms- not an option. They were wrapped around something. Something metal-y, kinda like a human, warm,  and- oh fazfuck. I'm in Sun's arms, a-and legs, a-and I-I'm pressed against h-him. I blushed. A lot. We were- not were, ARE cuddling like we're couples, like we're married. My heart raced.

After a while, he powered on and immediately looked down and checked to see if I'm awake. He blushed when he realized we've been cuddling, all. Night. Long. And I woke up and saw we were cuddling. He let me sit up, but the we both blushed. I was sitting, on his lap, with my legs wrapped around him. We both got flustered and moved away from eachother so we could have space. The second we did, I sneezed into my elbow. Sun immediately checks to see if I had a temperature, and I did. I definitely had a cold. Sun gets up, rushes to the balcony, and turn back to me.
"Don't you worry sunshine, I'll make sure you get better." Then he jumped down and I laid down on the couch. The scent of glitterglue and happy childhood was still in the spot where Sun was. I wasn't opposed to it, I genuinely liked it. I almost immediately fell asleep.

3rd person POV:

Sun got back to Y/n and gave them their first bit of medicine. Sun got worried and called Foxy over. Foxy helped take care of Y/n with Sun.

♤●Foxy's POV●♤:

Sun called me over, and Y/n looked sick. More sick than a young lassy I had to take care of who threw up. But Y/n is me matey, and me matey needed help. Sun was paving around and worrying, I was a calm as a clam.
"Matey, Y/n will be alright. It's probably just the covid thing that went around for a while." Sun wasn't comforted by that.
"But Y/n-"
"No buts me matey. Y/n'll be alright, they just need rest, medicine, and no TVs around. I heard TV in a human face for long periods of time is bad." Sun immediately unplugged the TV across the room from Y/n and I. I let me matey Y/n rest their head in me lap as a pillow.
"I see why you like Y/n so much. They're a pirate's treasure, a pearl of a mermaid, a diamond ring of a woman. I won't take 'em, and I'll tell Cole, me good matey, to stop the flirting. Y/n's yours if you tell 'em." Sun's eyes lit up and he hugged me. I was not prepared for that. Not. One. Bit. But he's me matey so I forgive 'em.

I messaged Vanessa some time after this and Y/n's second medicine take. Vanessa rushed over with masks, a covid test, and her hands on 'er hips.

▪︎○Vanessa POV○▪︎:

Foxy messaged me in the middle of my work day, and it said,
"You're not gon' like this, but, me matey Y/n, the daycare attendant stayed at the Pizzaplex overnight, and they be sick as a shipwreck. I think it might be covid. -Glamrock Pirate Foxy " I got mad and worried. Y/n is a full time DAY attendant, not a night one, one and two, if it is covid, then the daycare will have to close and Foxy'll have to stay in the same spot- actually we can just wash him but still.
I rushed over to the daycare after grabbing a covid test, and a mask. When I got there I out my hands on my hips. Sun knew he was going to be in some trouble, Foxy had Y/n's head on his lap, and Y/n looked pale and really sick. I knew it wasn't covid from just one look, they were having a bad cold and throw up. I grabbed a throw up bucket, wiped Foxy down with disinfectant, sent Foxy back to Pirate Cove, and I told Sun what Y/n has. Not even a minute later, Y/n started puking into the throw up bucket.
"You did WHAT?!"
Sun told me that him and Y/n cuddled. I groaned angrily and wiped sun down with disinfectant and gacpve him the spare pants he had in his closet. Quite. Annoying.

Over time I noticed that Sun was being like a boyfriend to Y/n. I am starting to suspect that something more than a friendship blossomed with them. Something like... love. Sun looked so worried about Y/n, it was sweet and Y/n wouldsmjle at Sun when they could. It was adorable and sweet. I'd never seen such a strong, sweet, cute, and adorable bond before. I gave Y/n some crakers, explained to Sun what he needed to do, and left.
