Y/n POV-

It's been two days since our sleep over at Stan's. We ended up sleeping in past church, so we obviously didnt make it. It's now Monday, and I'm walking to 4th period, Trig. I hate math. Absolutely hate math. Cant stand it, the one thing that makes it all better is that I have it with Kenny.

"Good morning Y/n." Mrs. Slaughter says (and yes this is a last name, we had a teacher with this name in my school district)

"Morning." I respond with a smile. I may hate the class, but I respect and genuinely like my teacher. Everyone walks in, and Kenny comes in late. Of course. He handed Mrs. Slaughter a note, and sat next to me.

"Good morning class. Today we will be diving in more depth with Sine, Cosine, and Tangent. Let's begin." She smiles and starts teaching her lesson

"Why are you late?" I whisper to Kenny, while writing down notes.

"Taking a make up test for science. I've been working on my grades you know this." He whispers back.

"Okay. Just wondering." I say. As class goes on Mrs. Slaughter had us work on our homework, and said we can work in partners or groups as long as we where on task. Kenny and I where working when Butters comes up to us.

"Hey Y/n? Could you help me for a second?" He asks sheepishly.

"Of course Butters!" I say with a smile. I'm not the best at math, but Trig for whatever reason I understand perfectly.

"How to you figure out x for problem ten?" He says pointing to his work. I explain what I did, and where he went wrong. And he seemed to enjoy my help. I looked out of the corner of my eye and say Kenny lost in space looking at the two of us.

"Earth to Kenny," I say snapping my fingers, "are you done with your work?"

"Oh yea, sorry. I just got lost in thought." He says blushing.

Kenny's POV-

We where in math class, I was working with Y/n when Butters came over to ask for help. And watching her help him, I dont know what it was about this situation, but damn she was just so damn amazing. I know that if her parents where here they'd be proud.

My train of thought was interrupted by Y/n snapping her fingers at me. We got through the rest of class, and then went to lunch. We walked to my car in silence. But not awkward silence.

"So Kenny, I was wondering what we where gonna do for Thanksgiving?" Y/n asks, eating her peanutbutter and jelly.

"Umm, I think my mom wanted us home, I can see if you and the kids can come." I say pulling out my phone to text my mom.

Me: hey mom can my girlfriend and her family for turkey dinner?
Mom: how many people is that?
Me: 3
Mom: well if they dont mind pitching in, the food I get is barely enough for us...

"So?" She asks, nervously.

"She says if you dont mind pitching something in." I state.

"Of course. I have elk roast that I can bring, and I can make my moms green bean casserole!" She says with so much enthusiasm.

Me: she said she would, shes gonna bring a roast and a casserole
Mom: fancy okay... tell her I'll do the potatoes and mac/cheese
Me: okay ttyl

"Mom says that she'll do potatoes and mac and cheese." I say a little embarrassed that my mom cant do more.

"Kenny if you're embarrassed, dont be. You dont need to be, because I love you. I love your parents for giving life to you and Karen. I know more than anyone how much money is a struggle, so I'm not nor will ever hold that against anyone." She says giving me a hug.
