"You should have told me I would just be your bag carrier."
"Well you didn't ask~." I said through a malicious smile as I handed Kyungmin yet another bag full of decorations I had purchased. It probably wasn't a good idea to go office shopping right before I was about to move in to a new living area and would need to shop for that but eh.
Kyungmin shifted his cap and gripped the bags tighter to avoid dropping them. He always seemed to complain about being a 'bag carrier' until the day was over and I bought him whatever food he wanted then somehow all was forgiven.
As we turned the corner I noticed that the very first store we had entered was coming into view and that only meant one thing. "Alright we're done!" Kyungmin let out one of the most obnoxious groans I had ever heard. Honestly I would have shut him up out of second hand embarrassment and his image but we were in a pretty deserted part of the mall so it was whatever. I felt generous today I guess.
"You know what time it is Jiyeonnie!"
"...Kyungmin's favorite food time..."
"Yup!"

"You guys constantly try to see how far you can get with your friendship huh? Anyone would think you guys were like soft-launching or somethin-" I stuffed a cupcake in Soonyoung's mouth preventing him from talking much more as he side eyed me yet reluctantly ate the dessert.
The three of us were sprawled out on the new couch I'd bought in my office eating the cupcakes Kyungmin had forced me to buy him for dessert. Sure I'd bought tons more things for the office but the guys seemed to be too burnt out after carrying in the couch so I just let the kids relax for a moment. It was already 9pm and let's just say those huge boxes and bags did not look appetizing to unpack. The cupcakes on the other hand very much did.
Kyungmin snickered as he took a bite of his third cupcake so far. I honestly wasn't even sure how the fuck he managed to stuff those down after a full three course meal but at the same time I was on my second cupcake so like. . .
But I'm also a hypocrite so it checks out.
Soonyoung's groan suddenly broke the comforting silence. "We have practice tomorrow at like 5am, I don't wanna go~." Honestly you would think he was a little kid if you would have heard the way he complained.
"Oh please aren't you like literally the choreographer?" Kyungmin asked rhetorically as he leaned more into the couch.
"Well- wait! What have you been up to anyways? You're literally in a group but you never have schedules."
Clearly Kyungmin was done with him, shown through his facial expression. "Well if you actually bothered to do one google search you would see that I'm technically still on hiatus until next month."
"OHHH~." We both facepalmed at Soonyoung's realization but the door being opened had stopped us momentarily. We looked to see Haerin standing with her eyebrow raised.
She walked a few steps before stopping in front of us. "Well you know I never thought I would see Seventeen's Hoshi, S.O.S's Kyungmin, and my employee eating cupcakes on a new couch but here we are." Honestly she was spot on with that tone too. We looked like complete losers.
"Oh my god sometimes I forget you work here." Soonyoung said and my eyebrows furrowed as I turned my head towards him.
"What- oh my god wait did I never tell you that Haerin and Jihoon are siblings?"
WHAT
"WHAT." Haerin chuckled a bit at my jaw being dropped.
"Okay how did I not know this!?" I knew everything about Soonyoung head to toe yet I guess it never crossed my mind to ask whether Jihoon had a sibling and whether that sibling was my boss. Well to be fair now that I think about it that would be a pretty weird question to ask out of nowhere especially since I had only talked to Jihoon like once.
I slumped back in my chair as I tried to process the situation. Luckily enough after a few seconds Soonyoung pat my shoulder and stood up cheerfully. "Well, it's tourture-the-members-during-practice-o'clock! Better get going!" Haerin smirked amusingly as both Kyungmin and I lazily waved. The cupcakes seemed to be getting to the both of us and we telepathically wondered how Soonyoung was still his cheery self.
Haerin turned her head and made comfortable eye-contact with me. "I see you have a few busy day of unpacking ahead of you~." The piles of boxes both in my office and home suddenly filled my mind and a groan escaped my mouth as Haerin only chuckled. "I'm free if your lover-boy can't help" She said and my face grew confused.
"Lover-boy?" I asked, slightly sitting myself up to seem at least a bit more professional.
"Yeah, are you two not dating?" She gestured between both Kyungmin and I and in the blink of an eye we were both completely out of our seats with shock.
"Ew!"
"Ew no what!"
Haerin stared at the both of us as we truthfully gagged at the thought. I had grown up with Kyungmin roughhousing and treating each other like pure siblings so the fact that someone had assumed we were in a relationship had both puzzled and disgusted me.
She clearly had gotten the memo though as she waved her hands in front of us signifying we get our selves together so of course we did and stood in complete silence. "Alrighty then! See you at work tomorrow Jiyeon." And with two quick bows full of class, Haerin had dashed through the exit leaving the two of us standing there in silence.
