Sun in Cancer / 4th House

Ah, the crustacean. Cancer- The Crab. Everyone knows them to be the moodiest of the Zodiac, and they are right for the most part.

We suck!

As I mentioned earlier, some astrologers tie Reincarnation to the subject of Astrology. Some believe that the cycle of incarnations go in a linear order, and some believe that the process of reincarnation isn't so linear.

Some believe that the placement of Sun in Cancer is one of the most difficult incarnations that a soul can go through, or that some souls go back to the placement of Cancer because they haven't learned enough.

Cancer is a hard place because the Cancerian feels everything so deeply. Their high emotionality can sometimes keep them from the comfort of other Feminine signs because they are so deeply afraid of getting hurt. They can get hurt very easily at the slightest rejection. One rejecting a Cancerian must always strive to be as careful as they can -  because being a cancer is like having a million tiny pricks in your body and never being satisfied til you're under the covers with your hot chocolate, cat, and the door mostly shut but not shut just enough that someone will come in, stroke your head, ask what's wrong, and make love to you cause you're just that kind of person damn them all!!!

Cancers are known as "The Mother of the Zodiac" because they deeply care about those around them and can often be found providing assistance to others in any way they can. Not gonna lie, when it comes to kids, I can be pretty selfless. Then I come home and it's all back again!!! Damn!!!!!

One famous Cancerian named Princess Diana as often found doing just that. Over the course of her life, Diana was able to help many humanitarian issues around the world. By the time she accidentally died in a car crash in Paris, the whole world mourned her death deeply.

Princess Diana was originally Diana Spencer. She got married to Prince Charles in July of 1981. She suffered when she discovered that her husband was having an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles and retreated from public life. The Royal Family took advantage of her silence and tried to paint her as being "unstable" after the divorce. Then Diana re-entered public life and began her new life as "The People's Princess." Even in raising her kids, she would force William and Harry to wait in line like everyone else instead of getting preferential treatment because they are royal. It is because of her that the Monarchy has inevitably changed for good.

A Cancer can often be easily mistaken for a Pisces. Both are erratic dreamers and romantics. Both can suffer mental health issues. However, Cancer and Pisces should be seen as different. A Pisces will be tough until they gain your trust.

A Cancer, however, can trust and love too easily. If you take advantage of the Cancer and assume they will let you step over them, you are in for a BIG surprise! Cancerians are also the most vengeful signs of the Zodiac. They can attack and sometimes blackmail their associates. When a Cancer is upset, expect a lot of tears to be involved- and they won't be from the Crab!

Truth to be told, we cry when we lose anyone. Anyone. We will also hold a grudge for years. This is why I laugh when compatibility says that cancer and Taurus goes together. Maybe I've only seen my sister and her husband, but I can't understand how we would ever get along. Or how a Cancer would ever stayed married to anybody. Seriously. We scare the Gemini, Capricorn, Aquarius, Libra, Leo, Scorpio, and Aries away - what's left for us? That's why, frequently, a lot of us are single. We love too hard, cling to you like a crab on a rock during high tide, and inevitably hit the rock - getting cracked open, and having to hide until we recover. We eventually have to go out again to get food, but the tide scares us back and we find another rock or person.

Cancerians can find excellent careers in business and the arts. Why? Cause we have so many emotions, and we like nice things just like the Taurus. As well as good food. Or carrying a purse / suitcase full of things we don't need. I'll never go anywhere without my pillow and it's only one pillow I will ever be able to handle.

Their best potential pairings are Virgo, Taurus, Scorpio, and Pisces. It is rare that a Cancer and Cancer relationship can work. A Cancer and Capricorn relationship pairing can work very well- such as Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Honestly it's rare that any relationship with a cancer can work. We are the worst. We are frequently bipolar, borderline, and very messed up. We can be loyal partners / friends, but it may take over a decade and honestly, I'm not sure we are all worth it.
