Chapter 4

Soon enough, y/n and Kudo approached the next town, bustling with a busy farmer's market. Kudo stopped his horse before they made it to the entrance, hiding behind a nearby building so they wouldn't be swarmed by people.
"You stay here and don't try anything. I'll be back very soon." He hopped off his horse, grabbing his bag from the night prior and walking into town. y/n sighed and leaned back on the horse, staring up at the clear blue sky with a few clouds floating by.
They didn't have a choice to go anywhere anyways. They were still tied up. Honestly it was kinda tiring for their arms-
Oh well.
There was no getting out.

They softly closed their eyes, just letting the slight breeze run through their hair. It was at least calming. The breeze straining through the grass and flowers, the clouds letting rays of light seep through them and warm the back of y/n's ears.

Despite them being a thief, it was nice to have a break every now and then and just hang out like this. Even if they were being held captive by a huge dude- Yikes. Oh well, they knew they would get out eventually.

Kudo eventually returned, putting a few things in a saddlebag on the side of his horse and lifting y/n off. He set them down, taking out a pocket knife. y/n stared, nervous before he cut the ropes on their hands, but not their legs.

He took an apple from his bag, handing it to them. "You need to eat. I haven't seen you eat at all since i found you. And that's been almost two days."

y/n took the apple nervously, afraid it might be poison or something. But considering they were personally starving they took a bite into the sweet fruit, calmly sighing after a second.

Kudo quietly snickered, standing back up straight and turning to his horse to fill the saddlebag with the rest of his possessions and leaving y/n to eat.
