Jermaine and I are going to a miniature golf course, which I believe is a unique and enjoyable activity to kick off our first date.

As we stepped onto the course, each hole was intricately designed, featuring tiny replicas of famous landmarks from around the world. From the miniature Eiffel Tower to the scaled-down Great Wall of China, every hole transported us to a different corner of the globe. The soft, rhythmic sound of water trickling alongside the course added a tranquil element to the atmosphere.

The miniature golf course provided the perfect backdrop for us to connect on a meaningful level, to learn about each other's personalities and to discover shared interests.

Jermaine and I took turns studying the map, plotting our path through this enchanting labyrinth of challenges. We strategized, discussing the best angles and techniques to conquer each hole. Laughter filled the air as we playfully teased each other about our competitive side.

"I only become competitive when there are competitive people around, and you so are," I playfully remarked.

"I just mentioned I can make that golf shot from here, that doesn't necessarily mean I'm competitive," he replied with a grin. With a confident swing, he sent the ball rolling towards its target.

"Nice," I smiled.

"I must admit, I haven't made the effort to do this for quite some time. The whole dating scene," he admitted.

"Well, I guess when you have women throwing themselves at you, there's no need to go through the process of dating and getting to know each other," I replied sassily, shrugging my shoulders.

My comment seemed to catch him off guard, and he couldn't help but chuckle at my boldness. "I don't think I've ever met a hairstylist who isn't sassy," he remarked. "Speaking of, my mom had a look through your hair business website. She's very impressed, and looking forward for your grand opening. She may have purposely drop your business card in the Silver and Golden ladies club."

I felt a blush flushed onto my cheeks. I haven't personally met his mom, so it's incredibly sweet of her to do that. It is evident that he has spoken about me to her, and this realization sends an unexpected flutter through my heart.

"I appreciate your mom's support and kind words about my hair business," I replied. "I'm excited for the salon grand opening, and I've been working tirelessly to ensure that everything is perfect for that day."

I couldn't help but notice the genuine interest in his eyes. "It's clear that you have a true talent for hairstyling, and I have no doubt that your grand opening will be a success."
