The gold standard of ABA;
The silent killer of the modern day.
Pioneered by Ivar Lovaas,
A cold, unloving sadist if ever there was.
Locked away in asylums and centres
Where he scolded, restrained and shocked them like dogs.
Lighting them up blue for his own sick enjoyment.
Though Lovaas is dead and gone,
His torturous therapy still lives on.
The children sport a blue puzzle piece;
The Rotenberg swastika, a symbol of hate.
Are we still living in those days
With the gold standard of ABA?
