With the 5 ninja gone, the Sons of Garmadon took over Ninjago. Dareth goes to a secret location, where Nya, Lloyd, and Misako are hiding.

"It's freezing." Dareth says as he comes inside the secret location.

"So they'll never bother to look here. Did you get the food?" Misako says and turns to dareth. "Yeah, they took everything. Except..." Dareth says and he pulls out a now-stale Puffy Potsticker.

"Ah-ha! Mr. Chen's Puffy Potsticker. I was gonna save it for later, but it's yours. Eat up, Lloyd. You lost your Elemental Power, but not your appetite."

"Uh, uh...they're just as hungry as I am." Lloyd says

"No, son. You need your strength." Misako says

"And were here to protect you, remember? We insist." Nya says

Lloyd reluctantly eats it. Hmm..Puffy." He says

"Breaks over. Let's go again." Nya says, Nya fought Lloyd as the others watched.

"How goes the training for the leader of our resistance?" Dareth asks.

"Truthfully, not so well. Lloyd says he doubts he can lead us without what makes him powerful." Pixel says.

"But Nya still has her power. Doesn't he believe it'll come back?" Dareth asks.

"He wasn't talking about his power. He was talking about his friends...and mostly his sister. It's like as soon as Emily died, Lloyd's courage and happiness within him left too." Misako says and cries.

Pixel rubs Misako's back

"Ah, man. I miss those ninja too. It's only been a week since Emperor Garmadon's taken over, and now everything's upside down. If it means anything, I'll protect the little green guy with my life if it comes to that." Dareth says

"We all would." Misako says wiping her tears away.

"Sweet move, Lloyd!" Dareth encourages. Nya kicks Lloyd

"Perhaps we should reach out the the other Elemental Masters." Pixel says. "I mean, seriously, what have they done for Ninjago lately?" Dareth says

"It has been a while since we we saw Skylor. But can we trust them?" Misako says. Music plays on the television.

"Huh? Turn it up." Lloyd says. The Police Commissioner, arrested by the Sons of Garmadon, gets inside the police car on the television.

"Oh-ho-ho! Looks like another one bites the dust. Who will be next? Ultra hunt!" Ultra violet says on the TV. Lloyd changes his expression to a sad one.

"Turn it off." Nya says and sighs. "Ninja never quit. Again." Nya says and they fight again.

Meanwhile, in the First Realm, Kai manages to find foil under the Bounty's debris

"Foil. I found foil! Ah! Yes! We have foil!" Kai says. While Emily is stressing out.

Zane grunts as he sets up a radio. "Okay. Let's see if it works." Zane says

"Say we're lucky enough to reach someone in Ninjago. After everything that's happened, is there even a home to go back too?" Emily says "I couldn't agree more." Cole says

"One way to find out. Here goes nothing." Kai says

"And that sounds like nothing." Zane says. "Unh! We're never getting home!" "Guys, chill out. It's okay. We just need to be positive about this! If you expect the worst, the worst will happen." Emily says
