"Hm? Sure, you can Ken. Is everything okay?" Haibara replied, there was light shuffling heard in the background. Instant murmurs of Suguru's voice could be heard on which Haibara spoke back. "It's Ken, babe," Haibara said softly to Getou just while he walked out of their bedroom to not disturb him.

"I apologize for waking you both, I think I should just wait in the morning. '' Nanami blurted out letting the sudden ping of guilt talk for him. He didn't want to be a bother to Yu or Getou, more so not after 10 p.m. Even though he really needed to talk to someone.

"No! Ken, it's fine. We honestly just fell asleep and just come over right this instance." Haibara stated firmly. Both of them knew that Nanami wouldn't just call so late for anything. Even as the phone line grew silent, the door to whatever was bothering Nanami had already been opened and he knew that Yu knew this. If Nanami continued to backtrack right now, Yu would be at his front door in an hour or so.

"I'll see you in about thirty minutes," Nanami finally answered before hanging up with Yu.

Nanami, never one for being late to any place, arrived exactly 30 minutes to Getou's and Haibara's apartment. With a gentle knock, he stepped back and waited.

"Hey Ken, come in," Yu said in a hushed tone, reaching to grab Nanami's hand and tug him in.

Yu still sported that boyish cut, though some of his hair was longer framing his face. Instead of being shorter than Nanami like when they were all back at Jujutsu Co, Yu now stood close to Nanami's eye level. His skin had more of a sun-kissed tone due to his many adventures with Suguru that summer. He wore a long-sleeved black shirt that was a little baggy on him, Nanami could only assume that it was Suguru's. The loose collar revealed a bite scar, with two circular holes that were scabbed over on the left of his neck. Suguru's bite mark.

Slipping out of his shoes, he pulled on the house slippers that Yu had placed aside for him. The small apartment smelt of Haibara and Getou fully, with the faint scents of gardenia incense complimenting their scents both. He was mildly surprised that he didn't need his handkerchief to cover his nose even though part of him still preferred his apartment because of Gojo's lingering scent there. Getting dressed was a back-and-forth task that frustrated him. That only seemed to settle by not snatching his own coat but Gojo's to wear. Surprisingly, the smell of the couple in their home had been slightly comforting. More scents besides Gojo that he didn't mind it seemed. Some of the symptoms on his medical papers explained that a pregnant Omega's nose was amplified. Instead of being able to ignore strangers' scents, they could become unpleasant to be around but the exception always being your mate or family.

A ball of white fur stretched up and jumped off the couch to greet Nanami. A long-haired white cat with piercing golden eyes stared at Nanami before lazily rubbing itself against his leg and doing the same to Yu. A blue-collar was fastened around its neck with a gold bell.

"Niji, hey sweet boy." Nanami hummed, reaching down to touch the cat who in return stood on its hind legs to butt its head against his fingers in greeting. Yu chuckled, "You know it's funny, you are one of the few people he willingly comes to. He bites Gojo whenever he tries to pick him up."

"Such a good cat," Nanami murmured, partially amused with the thought of the white cat bunny kicking with his hind legs and biting Gojo's arms and hands. The praise earned him a faint chirp in response from the cat and Yu chuckling again. "Ken, do not encourage him. I am running out of band aids from Gojo's determination with Niji."

The monochrome aesthetic of the couple was seen all over the apartment. A white couch with black fluffy pillows, and a plush black rug with a dark-stained coffee table. The only thing that sort of didn't match was Niji's little cat bed, which happened to be white with cherry blossom petal patterns over it with a well-worn cat toy that was in the shape of a tuna fish.
