Nanami curled into the beach chair with his book in his lap, enjoying the brief naps that came in tandem while on the beach—tuning out the eruption of cheers that came a few yards away from a volleyball match between Geto and Gojo against other hotel guests. Finally, he was getting his time to relax that evening and all to himself. Since the group had set foot on the island, there were activities back to back each day the group tried to attend them. He was happy to witness the chaos that always started and see someone capturing them on camera.

But just sitting there relaxing would rival some of those memories, in Nanami's opinion. He stayed in the shade to cut most of the heat down, enough to enjoy the breezes coming from the ocean. Being on the island for a few weeks had made Nanami gain a light tan, his sun freckles becoming more pronounced on his cheeks and elsewhere.

"Ken, it looks like they ran out of that passion fruit lemonade you liked, but they had pineapple lemonade that was recommended," Yu called out, coming down the stairs leading back to the outside bar.

Nanami hummed a thank you, sitting up to take the drink before Yu just as he sat beside him.

"Are they still playing?" Yu questioned, settling into his beach chair.

Nanami gave a light nod. "Yes, it seems that Satoru and Suguru were on the same team, but now have swapped and are going against each other, I think. The two are drawing a crowd from what I can see from here."

Competitions between Alphas were a way for them to peacock to their Omegas and release testosterone. These public displays also showed other Alphas their strengths with one another. Being a prime Alpha and Geto displaying that he could be his equal, this made any competition among them intense.

"Well, it'll be a while before they come back; you know how they can get," Yu mused, glancing in the direction that Geto and Satoru were in. Satoru intentionally spiked the ball toward Geto, who easily repelled it and spiked it back toward Satoru. The random spikes from both Alphas had the rest of their teams scrambling to keep up with the duo against one another.

Yu splayed his towel on the back of his beach chair and unbuttoned his shirt fully before placing it over his towel afterward, hoping that he could even out his tan by the end of the day.

Nanami could only shake his head, taking a sip from his pineapple drink before opening his book again while lazily rubbing his baby bump. Since carrying two, he had already shown a little bump that protruded out if his clothing were fitted. Nanami began to finish up his current chapter until he heard Yu chuckle. His gaze met Yu's sweet smile, making him give a flustered, curious look-back.

"It's nothing, just you look happier."

"I blame the moment I got told I needed to rest, and now I am on vacation," Nanami teased but found himself humming at the compliment, his gaze instinctively shifting toward where Gojo was. Being on a beach, away from the city, and with Gojo and family, made all the difference.

"Uh huh, just the beach," Yu quipped but grinned at Nanami's lack of verbal reply to that.

Nanami's faint smile remained before he cleared his throat.

"Even looks like your bite mark is healing a lot better than the last time I saw it," Yu pointed out, tilting his head to get a better look. The redness around Gojo's bite mark had faded, and the bruise had gone down to a few specs around the outlined bite mark, which was beginning to scab.

"Yeah, the bruising finally went away with the doctor prescribing me an ointment and Satoru insisting on putting it on for me."

Yu's gaze lingered on Nanami's neck, enough to where he turned on his side to face him while he spoke. "Kento, do you have a true bond with Satoru?"
