•After arriving at the HQ•

To be honest, when i exited that limo, i certainly couldn't have predicted what I'd see next. It really took me by surprise.

A huge, tall building, with little houses attached to it. Some apartments were almost floating, being attached to one side of the building. I've only noticed 3, each on separate floors.

It was an open field in here, and i could see some horses grazing, but beyond the buildings and horses there was a forest. Secluded from everything else. It was like it had it's own mind and it was growing in only one place. That must've been the "arena".

It was a big forest, you could get lost in there, i swear. Maybe that's what the horses were for. Traveling. Just like the old times. I was fine with it because i took horse riding lessons when i was younger so i knew a lot.

"I saw you noticed the horses. You like horses?" Phoenix asked.

"Oh what? Yeah i do. I actually love them."

"Great. You're going to get to ride them. I'm sure you know how to ride them, yes? We did some background on you and saw that you did take horse riding lessons." The brute explained.

"Well, yeah, i guess you could say that." I replied truthfully.

As we were walking towards the building i looked behind me, far past the limousine, only to see more fields. But then i spotted something shining in the sunlight. I quickly transferred my consciousness to my shadow and slithered my way to the shining object only to discover it was a trap door, possibly to a bunker.

Huh. In case of a meteorite we'll be transported here. Attaching my shadow back to my moving body and my consciousness to my brain, I continued on walking, until i was met with some large doors and the AC of a big building.

There was nothing inside except a desk, a few couches and tables, and a carpet at the doors saying "Welcome to The Games." in bold letters.

It was all marble, white marble, and there wasnt a speck of dirt. Immediately when Phoenix moved i did too, and we were heading straight to the desk.

"Kara? I have another participant."

The girl named Kara raised her head and looked at me. I think she was African. She was really pretty, with big full lips, curly hair that stopped at her shoulders, a slim build and dark eyes.

"Is she...." Kara voiced.

"Yes. She's very powerful."

The girl nodded and typed something into her computer, then pressed a button next to the keyboard. A printer started working and printed out something I couldn't make out. She then laminated the piece of paper and clipped it to a string, almost like a necklace. She then gave it to and i finally saw what it was.

It was a card-like necklace that contained a picture with me, my full name and personal details. Kara got up from her seat and reached over the desk to get my card. She then ingulfed it into her hands, her veins quickly turning an electric blue. She was an Electrika.

Electrika's are usually engineers, work at factories or design our technology as we know it. They cover the electronics, work well with electricity and could reproduce any technology with only a look at the components and the way it works.
