_____________Sirius's pov_____________

It was a regular day, by all accounts. It wasn't a slow day, but it wasn't busy. He liked these days.

It was quite cold outside, according to the amount of people dressed like they were out in a snow storm. Sirius didn't feel the cold. It was the middle of March, for goodness sake. It shouldn't even be cold. But nonetheless, his boss, Alice, had insisted on putting the heating on in the main shop, to try and entice people to come inside.

Sirius was scrolling on his phone when he heard the bell on the door chime. Not only did he hear that and footsteps, he heard something else. Similar to footsteps, but not.

Sirius looked up and placed an easy smile on his lips. "Hiya, welcome to HoneyDukes. What can I get for you today?" He asked, it was practically imprinted in his brain at this point.

The customer wasn't looking at him. He was squinting up at the drinks menu above Sirius's head.

Without looking down, so Sirius couldn't get a good look at the man infront of him, "You don't do tea, no?" He asked, eyebrows furrowed.

"Oh, no, sorry. I've been getting onto my boss about serving tea for ages, but no, we're a bloody coffee shop." Sirius laughed.

"Okay... then I think I'll have... a hot chocolate? If it's not too much trouble..." the other boy finally looked down and Sirius could get a quick look at him, before he was looking to the ground. "Sirius?" He asked, slowly looking up for longer this time. Sirius's breath hitched,
barely unnoticeably.

The boy he was serving was tall, like six foot type of tall. He had lightly tanned skin, underneath the hat he was wearing, he had brown curls, chocolate brown almost. Mahogany? Sirius wasn't sure, all he knew was that he liked it. He had the most beautiful green eyes that had a hint of something slightly yellow in them around the pupils and a scar on the bridge of his nose. He had a big coat on and fingerless gloves, underneath he had a grandpa style jumper on, a collared shirt underneath, brown bootcut jeans and you could see the toes of a pair of well loved battered converse. He had a satchel style bag over one of his shoulders, which you could see a pair of earphones just poking out. He was leaning on something, a crutch? So that's what you heard when he walked in.

"Of course, that'll be £3.45 when you're ready." Sirius smiled at the boy.

He handed Sirius a five pound note, Sirius was getting ready to get the change when he said "keep the change." with a small smile on his lips.

"Thank you! I'll bring your drink over when it's ready." Sirius smiled.

The boy walked over to a table by the biggest window in the shop, he started pulling stuff out of his bag. Such as a textbook, computer and note pad and pen. He sat down and started getting his work sorted, unknowing Sirius was watching him.

Sirius sighed, and set off to make the hot chocolate. Once he had made it, he put six marshmallows in it and tried to form a smiley face. It kind of worked? It looked slightly deformed, though. One of the eyes was floating away and the mouth didn't look like a smile very much anymore.

Sirius picked up the cup and walked over to the table, trying not to spill any.

"And here you go, if you need anything else, you let me know, okay?" Sirius said, smiling. The other boy smiled back at him and Sirius walked away.

Sirius was watching the boy from the counter, only a few other people had come in, mostly take aways. But Sirius was infatuated by this boy. His body was working of its own accord, as he found himself walking over to sit at the table with this boy, who was so deep into whatever he was working on, didn't notice.
