__________Remus's POV. _________

March 9th, 7:30 a.m.

Walking out of his bedroom, sleep still in his eyes, Remus made a beeline for the kitchen for a desperately needed cup of tea.

Only, when he walked into the kitchen, it was being blocked. By Marlene Gwen fucking McKinnon.

"Let me in, Marly."   Remus yawned, pointing towards the kitchen.

"No, Remus. We need to have a chat." Marlene said sternly.

"Marle- Why do we need to have a cat? You know Mary's allergic." Remus said, confusion lacing his voice.

Marlene huffed, clearly finding that funny, but tried to be firm with what she wanted him to do.

"Come on, Remus. Into the sitting room." Marlene said firmly, taking his arm and leading him to the sitting room, away from the kitchen, therefor, away from his tea.

"But I need to make tea, Marly." Remus complained, he knew he sounded like a child being told to get out of the swimming pool on holidays, but he honestly didn't care. He really wanted a cup of tea right now.

"You'll get your tea, mate. Just wait a little longer." She sighed, clearly wanting to get this over with too.

In the sitting room, was Lily Juniper Evans and Mary Flora McDonald. Remus wanted over with this shit already and he hasn't even sat down yet.

"What is it?" Remus said irritably. He was up late finishing his stupid history essay last night so he can hand it in early and not have to worry about it.

"Remus, take a seat." Lily said calmly.

Remus was beyond confused, if he was being honest, but he just sat down and listened to what the girls had to say.

"It's your birthday tomorrow, Remus." Lily said, as if she was talking about the weather.

"I'm aware...?" Remus said slowly. "What about it?"

"You're turning  twenty years old tomorrow, Remus! We need to-" Mary started but Lily had other plans. Coughing loudly, and hitting Mary's arm to get her to stop talking, she began to speak.

"Seeing it's your birthday tomorrow, which happens to be a Friday, keep in mind, we thought we might do something for your birthday. You, us, a few of your other friends, a few of our friends, get together and have a few drinks. Nothing too big, music and booze on a Friday night, even you, Remus, the king of the school fucking library, needs to let out some tension every now and then. And we won't have classes the next day, so we can deal with our hangovers then." Lily said, everyone knew she was the best to negotiate ideas or deals here, so whenever the majority wanted something, she would break out a deal for it.

Honestly, Remus didn't mind the idea. It sounded quite nice, if he was being truthful. He opened his mouth, to give his answer, but was stopped by Lily, again.

"Now, seeing it's your birthday, we don't have to do it. If you'd prefer to just get a pizza from Dominos or something and watch a few films that's fine. We don't want to push you or anything, it's an important birthday, Remus, and we want you to enjoy it more than anything." She said softly.

Remus considered, yes, he did think the party would be nice, but he'd also like to get a pizza, but you can have a pizza anyday really, not a party.

"If you guys want to do your party, or whatever, I suppose that's okay. I wouldn't mind, seeing we can get a pizza whenever." Remus sighed, a small smile on his face from the shock on the three girls that he agreed. Remus doesn't do party's if he can help it. Never.
