Epi - 19

Anshu’s POV

I was shocked to hear all about her past, I couldn’t imagine myself going through all the pain that life has put her through without anyone standing beside her. I was so right in predicting that Anugraha would see Ayshu after she told me that she was going to meet someone.

The sudden anger in Ayshu’s voice made it very clear how much she suffered all these years, I couldn’t stand there and see her suffering anymore. I moved to her seat and when I reached her chair, she was sitting there covering her face with her hands and I couldn’t see her face. I gently touched her shoulder, the mere touch made her reveal her face to me, and her face was covered with tears. Oh god, I couldn’t see it anymore.

She looked at me pathetically, her sight may be blurred due to all the tears that were falling from her eyes. Suddenly she emerged from her seat and walked away, I didn’t understand what just happened. I followed her and called out her name so many times but she didn’t stop, so I grabbed her hand.

“What happened to you? Why are you walking away from me? What did I do wrong?”, I looked at her without understanding anything

“Should I need to explain to you that after how intelligently you betrayed me and chose Anugraha over me?”, the sudden realization made me jolt.

“Oh I can explain”

“It’s not like I care who you date and whom you flirt but at least show some decency and tell me the truth”

“Look I know that you are so angry with me right now and I would never blame you for that, but you need to understand what I told Anugraha was just an act of the play, I never intended to say those words to anyone other than you but you have made me do it”

She looked at me like she was watching some filthy creature.

“I can’t believe it, After all that cheating you still have the guts to throw accusations on me by saying I made you do it, now you are trying to manipulate me through all your lies, What do you mean by I made you do it? Did I ever tell you to go and propose to her? You told her that and I don’t want to hear any other word from your mouth”

She walked away again, I grabbed her strongly and yelled.

“But you need to hear what I’m going to say, you need to know that the only person whom I felt truly is none other than you, hear me I love you Aysha Shafrin, I love you like you are the beat of my heart, the solid reason for my survival  and the love of my life, I would never love anyone other than you and you know that for certain that now I can’t live without you”

She looked at me deeply.

“Ok, then explain to me why you said something like that to Anugraha”, her sudden question made me relax.

I released the grip.

“Ok, first you were constantly avoiding me and that made me irritated, like literally confused and helpless, If you did show me any sign that you were not acting as per your wish wouldn’t lead me to take such a drastic step but you being you,  played loyal to that witch. So I decided to find out your darkest past and I used Anugraha to get that. So whatever I said to her is nothing but a part of my brilliant plan to make you reveal your secrets to me”

She was looking at me without even blinking her eyes, and that made me scared.

“You are not going to slap me, aren’t you?”, I asked her. She burst into laughter and that’s it, my heartbeat skipped, I mean I didn’t realize it was so beautiful to watch someone laugh until this moment.

Ayshu’s POV

He was damn cute and I can’t help myself from laughing, whatever he did to help was enough for me to realize this guy has something that I adore.

“No, I’m not. And by the way, thank you for your kind effort to make my life less screwed up, but you can’t do anything, it is what it is and I’m trying to accept the fact and move on”

“But you don’t have to live like a guilty person when you did nothing wrong, come on Ayshu, have some hope, try to fix what is broken, you have a life ahead and you can’t live that if you have this attitude”, he said hoping my response, but as always my stupid brain and heart are not ready to accept what he said.

How can I fix everything now? After all these years, how would I have the energy to do something like that but his eyes gave me the hope that I had been missing all these years, the more I looked into him I felt I was not alone, there is someone to guide me, to protect me, I don’t know if all these are true but I felt confident for the first time in my life.

“Ok, I’m ready to face my fears as long as you are on my side”

He looked at me and held my hands, that mere touch gave me shivers all over my body.

“I would be there as long as I’m alive, I’m not going to leave like others, I would protect you and try to make you happy as much as I can and I promise you Ayshu I would be by your side until the last breath of my life”
