*Kylie's P.O.V*
Saturday, 9:35pm. People started gathering inside the house, some making themselves comfortable while others already started swaying to the beat of the blasting music making itself heard from the numerous loud speakers Sara, Julie's sister and party planner, instructed her crew to install over the mansion.
Outside, the area was crowded to say the least : teenagers scattered around, either waiting for their clique to be complete, or just enjoying the cool night air, stark contrast to the almost-suffocating atmosphere reigning indoors.
Julie and I were in the back garden with a group of friends, drinks in hand, chatting around and all-in-all enjoying ourselves. I noticed that Keira and Faye, two girls in the group, were somehow Julie's duplicates : carefree, impossibly funny and genuinly outgoing. Although I've been introduced to everyone attending the party that night, most of them incredibly friendly, I found myself comfortable with these two especially, starting the moment we exchanged greetings. I still cannot understand what's the irish people's secret in having such a positive effect and impression on everyone they met.
"WE HAVE ARRIVED BITCHES !" Beau's hollering could be heard within a fifty miles radius. Did he ever think of joining a metal or rock band ?
As soon as the boys crossed the doorstep, they split into two groups ; Harry and Beau, which I labelled as the cheeky squad, elbowed themselves a path towards a large group of girls, while Tom and Josh quite literally ran over to the buffet, making it blatantly obvious that they hungry.
Niall was left to walk towards our gathering. I couldn't prevent a smile from spreading on my lips and my heart from beating faster at the sight of him. My insides were even doing summersaults as he neared. The things this boy was making me feel were utterly surreal.
I couldn't help but notice how Niall's body confidently weaved between the almost-intoxicated and sweaty-from-all-the-dancing teenagers, making its way towards us, or should I say me.
I excused myself and strolled over to him. I still couldn't believe he was my boyfriend, my freaking boyfriend for god's sake, and that I had the strength to even stand still on my trembling feet, let alone walk properly.
'Alright, quit the fangirling mode Kyles' I ordered myself.
"Hello Beautiful." Niall greated as he pressed his lips in a quick peck to my cheek. His hands absentmindedly found their way to my hips, resting on them as he dragged me into his warmth, whilst I placed my arms securely on his shoulders, hands meeting behind his neck.
"Hi You." I smiled widely, my hands twirling the hair and the base of his nape, while I prayed the sound of my quickened heartbeats didn't reach his ears. His presence was making me so comfortable yet slightly nervous.
"How is my girlfriend doing today ?" He asked cheekily, his breath hot on my cheeks as he leaned closer. It felt odd to hear him call me that way, odd in a pleasuring way.
"Good, definitely a lot better now that you're here." I answered, quite dumbfounded myself at the second part of my reply, although it was true.
" Awh how cute is that ? I missed you today, you know." My cheeks felt so hot as he pronounced the words,I wondered how come my flesh hadn't melted yet.
"Awh you're rather adorable yourself. But it's been less than 24 hours since you last saw me and you're already missing me ? What would you do if, let's say, I went out of town for a month or two ?" I quired, amused by what turn the conversation took.
"I don't know.. I'll probably mope around all day and the boys would tease me at first, and when they realise I'm not kidding they'll try to cheer me up but it wouldn't work until I could be with you again."
