Planning for the party with the bestie.

Enough with the depressing thoughts, Kylie ordered herself. it's not like she's gonna come back anyway. Dad and I suffered enough because of her. She made her choice, time for me to make mine : from now on, Ellen Louise Donelly is a complete stranger to me. Time to let her go.

When Kylie pushed these thoughts aside, Niall's voice and picture automatically popped out in her mind. it began to be a habit. She'll try to change that later. but for now, she remebered the phone call, and the whole joy of it was washing through her. HE IS COMING ON SATURDAY. SHE WAS ALL PUMPED. it was Awkward though that she told him at school the party was tonight. She really needed to start thinking straight and making her words come out with sense in the future. 

She headed downstairs for the kitchen , opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of juice. As she shut it behind her, the calendar hanging on the fridge door caught her attention.. 

oh wait.. Saturday.. february the 14th... valentine's day. 

" VALENTINE'S DAY" she shrieked. Niall fucking sweet perfect handsome friendly amazing Horan was coming at her place on VALENTINE'S DAY. " oh my god... could he be thinking i'm doing this on purpose ?gosh i hope not. omg i can't even believe i didn't pay attention. I need to make this party really special." She wouldn't want Niall to come to a regurlar party on Valentine's day, could she ? 

She also hoped her dad didn't invite many friends, otherwise it wouldn't be what she planne on. I'll just ask him to keep it small, she told herself.

Now was time to call her new friend, Julie Whiteman. Julie is a regular young irish teenager, however she sounded more outgoing and social. Kylie was introduced to the girl right after her first math class with Niall. they only exchanged a few words, yet they automatically realised they found their perfect half. They called themselves best friends after their first phone call.

Kylie went to her bedroom again, fetched for her bestie's number and dialed it.

" Hello ? " a voice on the end of the other line said

" hi, Julie, it's Kyles "  She pronouced her nickname a bit awkwardly, because she wasn't used to it yet. But that's one of the major steps in a solid friendship, isn't it ? 

" oh Hi there , how are you sweetie ? "

" pretty good, hbu ? "

" well you saw how i left school like a walking dead. I AM SO TIRED you have no idea "

" oh yeah i repicture you now walking like an actual maggot " They both laughed , then Kylie hit the topic

" So basically i'm calling because i wanted to ask you for a favor , but considering your current state, i think it might wait "

" Oh NO it is sooo not gonna stay in hold. when it comes to you, i'm healthy as a horse , so what can i do to help ? " From Julie's voice, Kylie knew her friend was back to shape.  This girl is precious, she reminded herself of how lucky she was to have her as a friend , and to be able to count on her. 

"  remember the party i talked to you about ? today at lunch ? "

" yeah, what about that ? "

" well it's on saturday, and considering how lucky i am, Saturday happens to be on february 14th "

" yeah, so what ? "

" SO WHAT ? can't you see the picture ? it is VALENTINE'S DAY "

a few minutes passed before Julie answered with a shocked voice : " You mean this saturday ? Va-valent-ine's daa-y ? " Kylie was obviously not the only one who forgot everything about the most important day in a teenager's love life. 

" YES , buddy. the actual valentine's day. now will you please let me finish ? " this is how they usually talk.

" Yes , sure, carry on. i'm sorry this is just a bit chocking, i completely forgot about it. what planet do i live in ? "

" erm correction : what planet do WE live in ? it feels like i blacked out as well. I just checked the calendar a few minutes ago before calling you. and this changes everything for the party : i'm not gonna let Niall come to a regular party on that immportant day, you hear me ? "

" OHH NIALL... love is in the air... "

" Julie , shut up. you know we're just close friends. i told you everything, remember ? "

" Close friends ? who do you think you're kidding ? Girl please, have you seen the way he looks or talks to you ? YOU ARE A WONDER, do you hear that ? the whole school is talking about the both of you, especially how you made him change in less than a week. Ever since you showed up on that math session, you've officially became the female star of the high-school. Niall has never opened up that easily to anyone before; you've seen that by yourself. People even talk to you as " the lucky girl" . "

" wait.. what ? all of this was going on behind my back ? woah "

" yeah, you said it. Now what are the exact plans for the party ? "

" erm i don't know anymore. I'm still in the process of getting over this. what the hell ? "

Julie laughed at how pitiful Kylie sounded, but quickly tried to come up with a plan " let me think about it.. wait , i got it ! "

" what ? spill it out already , you know i don't like suspens "

" well, you know that my older sister is a party planner ? maybe we should ask her, she wouldn't mind at all. "

Indeed, Sara was a real expert when it comes to celebrations. She would do a fab job.

" alright then ! we're finally heading for something certain. " Kylie felt like a really heavy burden was lifted off her shoulders. 

" i'll call her right away and see where we can meet up. "
