The next morning I wake up absolutely star fishing out across the bed, I'm taking up the whole bed and then I notice, Jungkook isn't here...
I get up out of bed and head downstairs towards the sound of people talking
I walk into the living room in Jungkook's shirt and my pants trying to figure out what the hell is going on and I find a very unwelcome sight of most of the basketball guys all sitting on the sofas, including Eric
Eric: You stayed here last night?
Shit... shit shit shit!
You: Uh, yeah...
Eric: Why? Where did you sleep?
I see Eric look towards Jungkook and I'm in full panic mode and don't even know what to say
Jimin: She stayed in my room, with me...
Jimin appears from the hallway and stands next to me wrapping his arm around my waist
Eric: What?! I thought you were just friends. You two are seeing each other?
Jimin: We are. Is that a problem?
Eric: Of course it is, anyone fucking my sister is always a problem!
You: Jesus Eric, do you have to?!
Eric: So he's the one who's been leaving all those bite marks on your neck?
You: ..Yes...
I see Jungkook trying to hide his amusement while we stand here taking all the heat, poor Jimin has thrown himself right in the firing line
Eric stands and tries to walk towards us but Jungkook stands up in front of him stopping him where he is
Jungkook: Don't do this...
He whispers in Eric's face
Eric: Get home now Y/N
You: No. You don't get to tell me what to do Eric, have you not embarrassed me enough?
Jimin: It's fine Y/N, I'll drive you home
I look at Eric and scoff shaking my head and go back upstairs to grab my stuff
When I come back down I don't even acknowledge anyone in the room, I just leave with Jimin following behind me until we get to his car
You: Why did you do that Jimin?
Jimin: What was the alternative? You tell him the truth?
You: Well, no, but I'm very thankful. You got shouted out for something you didn't even do
Jimin: It's for you and Jungkook so it's worth it. Plus this might actually work for both of us
You: How so?
Jimin: This will get Vicky and some of the other scary stalkers off my back if they think we're together and now the sneaking around or staying out won't look suspicious because people will think you're just out with me, including Eric
You: Huh, that makes a lot of sense actually, a pretend relationship...
Jimin: Exactly. We're each others cover story
