Percy POV

"lAnGuAgE!" Cap yelled through the intercom.

A bomb exploded to my left, a cloud of smoke rising. I rolled to the side, jumping up. Why was I the only one not given a mode of transportation? If I'm on the mission at least let me keep up!

Snow crunched under my feet, the thick woods making it easy to get lost if there wasn't the sound of the Avengers beating up HYDRA agents a couple hundred feet in front of me. I kept running, trying not to die. This was a fruitless effort. I predicted my death in the next coming seconds as I accidentally ran into a troop of HYDRA agents.

Well, shoot. They pointed their guns at me when a few laughed, they probably thought I was lost and somehow got stuck in the middle of this fight. I grinned, speaking in Ancient Greek. English would tip them off.

"Leave, tis is no place for a little girl." A man said, a slight accent preventing him from saying the 'th' sound.

"You're right, it isn't. Too bad my Dad disagrees!" I grabbed my gun and shot him, the bullet hitting him in the chest. I grabbed a grenade (which may or may not have been stolen) from my belt. I pulled the trigger and ran, jumping into a nearby bush. A loud boom knocked me to the ground. My ears were ringing, and my vision was slightly blurry.

I coughed, when my teachers said to have a nice spring break, I don't think this is what they meant. I could hear people talking over the intercom, but it was muted. I shook my head, trying to get back up.

I ran forward, shooting a few more HYDRA agents on the way. I heard the leaves rustle, debris floating in a small circle. I zoomed in, well, I tried to see what was going on when I looked up to find a boy around my age standing next to me.

"Hello," He grinned,

I stared at him, holstering my gun and grabbing my dagger. I grunted, swiping my leg out underneath him. He was three feet away in a blur. "Ah, not the chatty type. I see. No problem. I can do the talking."

"There's an enhanced on the field!" Clint said, I could hear the strain in his voice.

"Oh, I can talk alright, I just don't like to waste my breath!" I threw my dagger towards his chest.

He caught it with a grin, "Maybe try harder, next time."

I threw a punch, hitting him in the abdomen. He grunted, trying to punch my face. I lifted my arm, blocking him.

I tried to swipe out his legs again, this time though, he fell.

"There won't need to be a next time." I knelt, digging my knee into his chest, my dagger back in my hands, against his neck.

I could feel my heart slamming against my ribcage.

"It seems that I fell for you!" He grinned, his eyes sparkling.

I blushed, rolling my eyes. "That's one way to put it." In the moment of distraction, he got loose and ran away, a soft breeze blowing my hair into my face.

"Damn it," I muttered, I chased after him, though not as fast.

Seconds later I heard something through the com. "Clint's hit."

"Where are you?" I asked, it's not like I had been much help against the Hydra agents. The least I could do was take Clint to safety so he doesn't die.

"Next to one of the bunkers, you'll find me," Natasha replied. Gee thanks, cause there's only one bunker! But I knew what she meant, I've always been able to find her on missions. She doesn't know it but one of the vials in her belt is just water. I put it in there in case she ever got injured, that way it would be easier to track her down.
