"What? What is he saying?"

Once again, I saw all kinds of reactions. But now, I was only focused on chiyabashira-sensei.

She started laughing. "Impressive, Ayanokouji-kun. You truly exceeded my high expectations."

That raised some questions in my mind. Did she know... At any rate, now was not the time to ask her that.

She continued, "you may buy the explanation... But it's not that simple." She paused as if expecting some sort of reaction from me. I just stared at her with a blank expression on my face.

Apparently concluding that I would not say a thing, Chiyabashira-sensei said, "To buy that explanation, 20,000 of your allowance will be gone every month you obtain points, from now until graduation"

Immediately, there was a lot of chatter and complains.

"Geez, what's wrong with this guy? I just wanna get my points and have some fun already!" A boy with brown hair sitting in the row beside the window grumbled. Following that, majority of the class nodded and voiced their complains.

I sighed. Seems like I was put in a class full of idiots.

I stood up and looked at everyone.

"First of all, I'm Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. Nice to meet you all. Secondly, you might be questioning why I would want to sacrifice part of your allowance just for some seemingly unimportant information."

I saw a lot of nodding there.

I sighed once again. With those tiny brains of theirs, this persuasion would take rather long.

"Well, let's go through various scenarios that might happen. what if I don't ask chiyabashira-sensei for the explanation? We might not get our full allowance  next month. In fact, the worst case scenario is that we don't get any points at all. That's much worse than losing out on those 20,000 points next month, right? We should think of this logically. If the information Chiyabashira-sensei will give us is unimportant, why is it so expensive? It must be because the information is vital to  us." I reasoned.

Then, to strengthen their trust in my plan further, I added, "if the information provided does not help us, I am willing to sacrifice half of my allowance every month and split it equally with all of you, as a sort of compensation."

"Um... Ayanokouji-kun, you don't need to do that! I'm sure the information is important." Kushida-san chirped. I nodded at her gratefully.

I gazed at everyone with my empty eyes. "So, are you willing?"

The handsome boy at the front stood up. "Everyone, I think we should support Ayanokouji-kun's theory. He seems pretty confident in it."

Immediately, a girl with long blonde hair seating beside him raised her hand. "If Hirata-kun says so, then I agree!" Following that, the rest of the girls voiced their agreement

The boys slowly nodded, as if convinced.

I thanked them. Then, I directed my gaze to the sensei.

"You heard them. We are willing to sacrifice part of our points for the information." Saying that, I sat back down on my chair.

Chiyabashira-sensei smiled. It seemed creepy somehow.

"Very well. Hear this, defects. Ayanokouji-kun may have very well saved your pathetic school lives. You should thank him properly later."

"Defects? Who're you calling defects?" A guy with glasses and grey hair shouted angrily.

Chiyabashira-sensei just smiled creepily.
