"Kukuku, who was the guy who figured out the S-system on the first day? Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, was it?"

The whole class was silent, shivering slightly at the tense atmosphere. Ryuuen's eyes scanned the class for a few seconds, before landing on my figure.

He trudged towards me, a wide grin spreading across his face, while I kept my apathetic and bored face. The dark-skinned boy followed him, while the blue haired girl and the other guy stayed near the entrance, glaring at anyone who dared leave the classroom.

He walked past the trembling Kushida , the worried Hirata, and the weirdly excited Soxtomura who sat in front of me.

(A/N: idk if it really was him who sat in front of ayanokoji in cannon, but in this fanfic, Sotomura does.)

I stood up as he stopped at my table, and we stared at each other for a while, unwavering. His sharp magenta eyes gazed into my empty brown eyes.

I broke the silence by saying, "What do you want?"

Boredom was easily evident on my face.

Suddenly, without warning, Ryuuen sent a quick punch towards my face.

"AYANOKOJI! LOOK OUT!" horikita yelped.

I heard cries of concern as his fist approached my still-stoic face. At the last moment, I moved my body to the side and his fist passed my face, brushing my nose slightly.

Ryuuen withdrew his hand as he started laughing again. I'll be blunt here – his laughter was seriously creepy. I don't think I've ever heard such laughter before. Not that I've heard much.

I heard gasps of surprise from everyone. I guess dodging a fist at point-blank range was considered amazing to an average high-school student.

"You do know that there are cameras in the classroom, right?" I asked him.

Ryuuen just grinned. "Don't worry, they're turned off for 15 minutes."

He bought it, huh? According to my extensive research in the first month, 30 minutes of turning off the cameras in a class costs 20,000 private points. Meaning he used 10,000 points for this confrontation. Quite a meaningless expense, if you ask me.

"Albert." Ryuuen gestured to the large guy and he walked behind me, grabbing my hands and locking them behind my back. I offered no resistance.

From my position, I could see all of my classmates' faces. They were all visibly nervous and worried for me. Koenji was, surprisingly, still in class, combing his hair with his legs propped onto the table, seemingly not caring about the drama happening in the classroom right now.

As Albert held my hands down, I was wondering what the point of this was.

To exert his 'superiority' onto me? To gain a psychological advantage over me? To shake up my classmates? Or was it to simply beat me up? Well, whatever he did, it would not affect me. As for my classmates, as long as I showed them that I was better than Ryuuen, both physically and mentally, they too would not be damaged much.

"Kukuku, still not bothered in the slightest, huh? I cant wait to beat that apathetic face of yours and bring fear into your eyes."

"Ryuuen-kun! Stop!" Hirata stood up from his chair and glared at him, his fists clenched. Hirata's usually bright face darkened.

"I'm fine, Hirata. Don't worry. Calm down," I reassured him.

"Kukuku, that's right. Sit back down, pretty boy. Unless you wanna taste my fist," Ryuuen sneered.

Hirata started trembling – not with fear, but with anger and frustration – but sat back down.

A few girls seemed worried about him but were too afraid to move from their seats.
