A/N
Hey, sorry for a bit of a delay on this chapter. It's the weekend and Father's Day here in Australia, so I haven't been very active.
This chapter was going to be joined with chapter 9, but it would've been so long and I'm not sure if people prefer that. Anyways I have separated them, and hopefully the next chapter will be out tomorrow.
Enjoy!!
*Natalya's POV*
Driving my car again just felt amazing, familiar, it was great. I drive a 4-door matte white jeep wrangler and it looks proper boss.
(Natalya's car)
I've been out for about an hour, and I am about to head home, so I shoot Alessia and Caitlin a text in the group chat Caitlin made after training today in the changing rooms.
Roomies <3
Me: Hey girls, I'm omw back. Just letting yk x
Cait: Okay, I'm in my room if you need me, but if not goodnight girls. Sleep well xx
Lessi x: I'm in our room too, but I'm still awake. I'll see you when you come upstairs babe x.
Me: 'Our room' love that. Okay, see you in a bit <3.
Cait: Guys, pls don't make me third wheel in my own group chat, I'd appreciate it. :)
I giggled at Caitlins text before putting my phone down and starting to drive, I put on my favourite playlist too, my gameday playlist. Some of the songs remind me of Alessia and it just makes me want to get home even quicker. I have grown quite fond of her, and it's only been a day.
I quickly drove home and parked my car in what is now considered my parking spot. I walked into the house, and it was dark, no lights were on and all I could hear were the distance noises from someone's TV upstairs. I walked into the kitchen using the flashlight on my phone to see, and I found the light switch. When the room lit up, I opened the fridge and saw some spaghetti bolognese with a note saying;
'For Natalya, love Cait and Lessi x'
"Aw, that's really sweet." I quietly spoke to myself.
"It is isn't it. It was Caitlins idea, she just put my name on it too." Alessia said appearing out of nowhere leaning against the doorway making me jump. She must have seen me startled because she followed with, "sorry baby, I didn't mean to scare you."
"Ah there it is again." I said very visibly blushing. She gave me butterflies. "I love it." I said with a smile while wrapping my arms around her neck pulling her into a hug. We stood there for a good minute until she pulled away with a concerned look on her face.
"What's wrong Less?" I ask her, now mirroring her facial expressions.
"Nothing, honestly nothing. It's just I have realized I really like you, and I genuinely am developing feelings for you, and I was wondering if maybe you felt the same?" Alessia asks innocently, almost embarrassed about expressing the way she feels, it was quite cute.
