"You're smiling which means if I ask a few more times you'll give in."

She laughed, "I hate how much you know me."

"It could be like old times. Remember when we first met in elementary school and did Charlie Brown Christmas, you were Lucy and I was Charlie," Andrew smiled brightly.

She giggled, "And I got mad at you because you kept messing your lines because you were nervous."

"Then I said you were the perfect person for Lucy and that made you even more mad so after rehearsal you decked me with snowballs."

"And you started laughing at me!"

"You looked so funny with your little arms and your big pink puffy jacket, well until you chucked the next one at me face."

She laughed, not noticing her boyfriend staring at the pair from down the hall with furrowed eyebrows.

"So you'll be in 'The Nutcracker' with me?"

She playfully rolled her eyes, "...fine."

"Yes! Auditions are tomorrow after school!" He hugged the girl excitedly before walking away.

Tristan walked up, awkwardly laughing, "what was that all about?"

"Oh, Andrew was asking me to play Clara in 'The Nutcracker' with him."

"Andrew?"

"Yeah, he's my ex from California that I told about, remember?"

"The one you kissed?"

She laughed, "T, I told you that didn't mean anything."

He probed the inside of his cheek with his tongue before sighing, "it's not really funny to me, London."

"It's funny because when you needed me to forgive you, it was no big deal but now you're bringing it up."

"That's not fair, London."

"No, it is fair, Tristan, because it's obvious you do care." The brunette walked away.

"Yes, darling princess angel." He walked downstairs.

She dropped her backpack on the couch and headed for the kitchen. "I'm auditioning for Clara in 'The Nutcracker' and Andrew is auditioning for... well duh... The Nutcracker."
