~chapter 0: prologue~

Hi! Miss Author here, just letting you all know that this fic will feature some Japanese words or terms. I'll place the translations at the start of every chapter so that you all won't be confused while reading the chapter :>

Translations:

Otousan = Father 

"-nee" = Older sister (used at the end of the name; affectionate) 

Oneesan = Older sister (polite)

Oneechan = Older sister (affectionate) 

Okaasan = Mother 

Ojisan = Uncle 

Obasan = Aunt

Driving around the roads of Canterlot city was the white SUV of the Ogiwara family who recently moved to the city from Manehatten. After a few minutes of driving, the family reached their destination: a newly bought two-story house.

The father, Tsutomu, then reverse parked the car into the small parking area of the house. "We're finally here" He announced with a soft smile.

"Thank Goodness" The mother, Kyoko, sighed in relief. She got out of the car and walked a bit farther from the parking lot, getting a view of their new home. "Oh dear...It looks lovely" She smiled in joy.

Her husband only let out a hum of agreement before focusing his attention on the sleeping girl in the backseat.

"Shouldn't we wake her up already?" He asked his wife as she returned to the parking area.

"No, let her rest for a while. She's still sleepy from the long car ride from Manehatten" Kyoko said as she looked at her daughter lying down still in the backseat, breathing soundly without a care in the world.

"Enjoyed your nap, sleeping beauty?"

Ritsu was met with her father's amused tone as she awoke from her slumber. She yawned as she sat up and stretched her limbs. She then looked around in surprise.

"Oh, we're here!" She exclaimed in excitement before stopping to look at her father. "Wait Otousan, when did we arrive here?"

"Just ten minutes before you woke up Ritsu" Tsutomu then looked to the side and chuckled "Well, look who's here"

Just as he spoke, a black car arrived at the sidewalk in front of the house. A middle-aged woman and her teenage daughter got out of the car, both closing the door as the woman looked around.

"Oh, Hey Tsutomu!" The older woman called out and waved along with her daughter as they headed for the entrance. The black haired man only waved back in response.

Kyoko then opened the door, clutching her phone as she looked at two approaching figures with elation. "Amane!" she excitedly called out. "Kyoko-nee!" The other woman happily reciprocated. The two ran to each other and hugged, happy to see the other person. Both of them then pulled apart, Amane's straight navy hair and tall stature rather contrasting with Kyoko's wavy dark brown hair and slightly shorter stature.

"It's so nice to finally see you! I'm so glad we get to live near each other." Kyoko beamed at her sister. "Oh! I need to give you and Yuki a tour, this house is absolutely lovely"

Amane chuckled at her older sister's joy "It sure is Oneesan. You and Tsutomu definitely struck gold with th-"

"YUUUUKIIII!!!"
