Broadway Bound

Three days later our show had closed it was a bittersweet feeling. I was sad as it was my senior year and I wouldn't be doing another show with my friends or my director but I was going to be on Broadway and live my dream playing my dream role. After the show was over Aaron and I went back to my place so I could grab my things and we could go to the train station. "Bye Mom, Bye Dad." I said to them

"Bye Kate." My brother Martin said

"Drop them dead Kate." My sister Deirdre said and Aaron and I went to the train station. "You excited?" he asked me

"excited but nervous." I replied a small smile on my face. "Well you're going to be amazing." He told me pulling me in for a hug. We found some seats on the train and put our luggage on the over head area. "I can't believe I'm going to be living in the city and with you!" I said

"You are probably the calmest fan I've ever met." He said laughing I rolled my eyes "I honestly have no idea why I'm this calm." I replied honestly

The train ride wasn't really interesting we sat talking about Broadway and how much fun it's going to be. When we got to the city Aaron took me to his place. "Woah." I said smiling

"It's a little messy." He said

"Oh c'mon you saw my house its fine." I replied honestly it wasn't that messy. "Want to go to Ellen's stardust diner for dinner?" He asked me I grinned widely "Absolutely." I said He smiled and we went to the subway station to take the subway to the diner. There was a line but we didn't care we talked outside and eventually got to go inside and sit at a table. I was a very picky eater so I just got hot dogs Aaron laughed at that. "Sorry I'm a picky eater." I replied shrugging

"It's fine." He said when I heard a song begin Aaron and I smiled. "One Day More another day another destiny this never ending world to cavalry these men who seem to no my crime will surely come a second time One Day more." One of the waiters sang

"I did not live until today how can I live when we are parted."

"One Day More."

"Tomorrow you'll be worlds away and yet with you my world has started." a waiter and waitress sang

"One More Day all on my own." I sang it was so loud in the cafe nobody heard me except Aaron he smiled at me. "Will we ever meet again."

"One More day with him not caring."

"I was born to be with you."

"What a life I might have known!"

"And I swear I will be true."

"But he never saw me there!"

"One more day before the storm." Aaron sang I giggled

"Do I follow where she goes?"

"At the barricades of freedom."

"Shall I join my brothers there?"

"When our ranks begin to form."

"The time is now the day is near!" A lot of people sang Aaron and I laughed "One more day till revolution we will nip it in the bud I will join these little school boys they will wet themselves with blood." A waiter sang

"Watch em run a muck catch em as they fall never know your luck when there's a free for all here a little dip there a little touch most of them are goners so they won't miss much." A waiter and our waitress Jenny sang

"One day to a new beginning!" I sang with a ton of other people

"Raise the flag of freedom high!" Aaron sang

"Do you hear the people sing?" We both sang

"My Place is hear I fight with you!" The waiter singing Marius' part sang

"One Day more." The Valjean waiter sang

"I did not live until today."

"One More day all on my own!" I sang

"How can I live when we are parted."

"What a life I might have known!"

"Tomorrow you'll be worlds a way and yet with you my world as started."

"Tomorrow we'll be worlds away tomorrow is the judgement day."

"Tomorrow we'll discover what our god in heaven has in store one more dawn one more day ONE DAY MORE!" Everyone sang and Aaron and I laughed hysterically. "Every chance you get to sing 'Ponine's part you just have to go for it?" He asked me

"What about you singing Enjolras' part." I asked laughing we got our food and ate listening to the music occasionally singing along we got our desert and enjoyed it together before going back to Aaron's apartment. "Here's your room." He told me

"Thank you Aaron."

"Your first day of rehearsal is tomorrow."

"Yep."

"You better get some sleep."

"Yeah thank you again."

"You don't need to thank me good night Katie."

"Katie?"

"Oh uh sorry."

"No its fine I like it. Good Night Aaron." I said going into my room I closed my door and slid down against it sighing. "How strange this feeling that my life's begun at last this change can people really fall in love so fast? What's the matter with you Kathleen have you been to much on your own so many things unclear so many things unknown in my life there are so many questions and answers that some how seem wrong. In my life there are times when I catch in the silence the sigh of a far away song and it sings of a world that I long to see out of reach just a whisper away waiting for me. Does he know I'm a live do I know if he's real did he see what I saw does he feel what I feel. In my life I'm no longer alone now the love in my life is so real. Find me now find me here." I sang coming to the realization that I was in love with Aaron. I stood up got into my pajamas climbed into bed and fell asleep dreaming about Broadway and Aaron.
