Ik this isn't according to lore but idc, take it or leave it.

Dream POV:

*FLASHBACK*

It was raining. Only me and George were there. I dropped my sword and put my hands up. "See I don't have anything on me." The brunette ran and picked up the sword. "Well that was quite stupid, why did you do it?" 

"George, I did it because... I love you!" I said. It felt good to let it off my chest. My mind was filled with different emotions. I came closer. "Stay back!" He yelled pointing his sword out. He started laughing. I became very confused by this, there was no reason to laugh. "Why are you laughing?"

"Did you ever think I would love someone like you?" "But-" "I would never love a MONSTER like you." The word 'monster' rang in my head. My chest felt tight and my breathing increased rapidly.

"Take him Sam. he's unarmed." Sam? I turned back and saw Sam with his sword held high, he knocked me out.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I could hear faint voices.

"Dream! DREAM! Come on wake up." I tried to open my eyes but they were too heavy. My struggle soon ended as a tight slap landed on my face.

"FUCK!" I shouted as I jerked forwards, sitting up. "Shit! I'm sorry, was that too hard?" I heard a scared familliar voice, which I recognized as Quackity's. "No. It's fine-" I was cut off as he hugged me. I wasn't too tight nor too loose. It was soft and calming. I was shocked at first but leaned into the imbrace later. We pulled away and Quackity gave me a soft smile. My face started burning. Quackity ended the silence,

"So... about the question...-"

"No, I'm sorry, I should never have said that, it was dumb-"

"No it wasn't," He said igniting a spark of hope- hope that he feels the same way I do. "It certainly wasn't dumb, but... I need some time Dream." I felt dissapointed, but understood. I nodded. "I'll wait for however long you want." Atleast it wasn't a 'no' "Thanks Dream" We sat in silence for some time till we heard a knock on the door. "Dream?" Fuck.

"Are you alright?" I heard the voice say. "Yeah I'm fine." I replied. "Hide!" I whisper-shouted to Quackity. "Where?" "I don't know? Somewhere!" We both quickly yet quietly stood up. "Dream, I'm coming in!" "No wait!" The door opened. Quackity looked pale but managed to squeak out...

Hii y'all, how are you? Sorry I haven't been posting. Like I said before, my exams are coming up on the 13th and will end on the 28th. So I won't be able to post then and this will most likely be the last chapter till the 28th. The moment my exams are over I'll be sure to bombard your device with notifications. (Only if you want me to, ofc)
