Kai told his mom about the whole situation and she was livid. She was so mad. She slammed divorce papers onto Ledger's dad's office desk and slapped him hard.
"HOW CAN YOU TREAT YOUR OWN SON LIKE THAT? AND FOR MONEY!?"
"Please let's just talk about this."
"No, sign the papers. NOW!" He signed the papers and Kai and his mom packed their things and moved into a mansion.

It took 12 months for the divorce to be finalized and they had decorated their new house. It looked so cozy. They had two spare bedrooms bedrooms and Kai had an idea.

Ledger and Blair had just came home from a busy day at work and heard a knock at their door. It was Kai. They greeted him and he look so happy to see them he gave them both a hug.
"I want to ask you guys something, don't say anything before I'm finished. Okay so my mom divorced your dad, Ledger, and we moved into a cozy mansion. The divorce took a year to finalize but it has now and we would like you two and your mom, Blair, to move in. We have two spare bedrooms, one for your mom and one for you two love birds."
"Omg I don't know what to say. This is perfect, my mom finally is getting better!"
"Kai your the best, I know we aren't brothers anymore but you are like a brother to me in general." They all hug.

Years later:
Blair's mom gets healthy and works again to help pay the bills, Blair and Ledger have a business together helping people with poor mental health, drug abuse problems, self harm, eating disorders, suicide thoughts etc. Their business helped loads of people. Kai is a multi-millionaire and Kai's mom found love.
