❝7 Months Pregnant❞

The days had gone by quickly. The couple had been thinking for a while about hosting a gathering. Yesterday, they finally decided to organize a family lunch for today, and so they invited everyone in advance.

Everyone was there: the grandparents, Plaifa, Marima, Nessa, Tina, Heidi, Chompu, and more. Well, almost all their closest friends were present.

Before it all started and the guests arrived, they had spent most of the morning planning the lunch. They were really looking forward to spending time with the people they loved, so they were very excited.

Engfa's mother and Charlotte's father were helping in the kitchen. So the food was ready just as the first guests began to arrive.

There was plenty of food for everyone.

The guests kept coming, and Engfa and Charlotte welcomed each of them warmly.

...

Now, the guests were all settled. Some were enjoying the food while others were deep in interesting conversations.

Meanwhile, Nessa was dancing non-stop around the place. It seemed the wine she drank had already kicked in. Engfa, now with Plaifa, had taken it upon themselves to keep an eye on Nessa and the other girls who had started drinking a little too early in the afternoon.

Charlotte was also enjoying the food—she had a plate in her hand and was serving herself a bit of everything. She really couldn’t stop; honestly, the most interesting thing to her right now was the delicious spread in front of her. Okay, that was a lie—she also loved chatting with Chompu and her dad, who were sitting beside her.

"Sweetheart, you haven’t told me yet if you’ve picked a name for the baby," her dad asked as he looked lovingly at his daughter.

"That’s true, I totally forgot to mention it, but yes, we do have a few names in mind," Charlotte replied, smiling as excitedly as her father.

"Why didn’t you tell me either?" Chompu complained. "I’m supposed to be the cool aunt and you didn’t tell me the name!" she said, feigning offense.

Charlotte laughed sweetly. “Don’t be dramatic, Chompu. I said I forgot. Besides, we haven’t decided for sure yet,” she rolled her eyes and laughed more.

The woman sitting across from her laughed too.

"Well, tell me anyway—what are the name options?" she asked, clearly thrilled.

But before Charlotte could answer, Nessa walked over and kissed Chompu on the cheek, which of course made her blush immediately.

"Hey, beautiful… hey old man, hey pregnant lady, what are we talking about?" she asked playfully as she sat next to Chompu and threw an arm around her.

"Sweetie, we were talking about baby names," Charlotte's father said again, laughing, and both women nodded with amused smiles.
