Everything happened so quickly after that, that in the blink of an eye, the moment they had been waiting for so long had finally arrived.

Heidi was in the hospital lobby, calling her girlfriend to give her the big news.
"Baby, it’s time!" Heidi shouted through the phone with so much excitement.
"OH MY... Oh my God...!! Nessa is going to be so happy!" she cried, overwhelmed with emotion.
"We’re on our way," was the last thing her girlfriend said.
“We’ll be waiting for you, sweetheart. Take care,” Heidi replied before hanging up and rushing back to the room where Charlotte and Engfa were.
Tina had already heard the news, and with a bright smile, she walked over to her friend, looked at her lovingly, and couldn’t help but let a few tears fall.
She couldn’t help it—she was going to be an aunt.
“It’s time!”
The brunette looked at her, beaming with joy.
“Does that mean…?”
Of course she knew what that meant. It filled her with happiness and made her heart burst.
“They’re waiting for us. Let’s go… go grab your things,” Tina said, excited.
Nessa rushed to her room, grabbed her things, and the two headed to the car. Soon, they arrived at the hospital and walked down the hallway toward the room.
Tina squeezed Nessa’s hand as they smiled.
“Are you ready, babe?”
“Of course I am! We’re gonna be aunts, ahhh!” she squealed, full of excitement and nerves.

They slowly opened the door to the room and found the two women there, along with the grandparents and the other aunties.
Nessa and Tina’s eyes widened until they couldn’t anymore, and they immediately lit up with joy when they saw that tiny little girl in the arms of their hazel-eyed friend.
Charlotte beamed and motioned them closer. The women in the room were already visibly crying tears of joy.
“Do you want to meet her?”
She asked them with a huge smile.
“Can I?” Nessa asked nervously.
The women smiled and laughed.
“Of course, silly,” Charlotte said.
