Jason's POV:

Man, it's always quiet as a tomb when I get home from class. Being alone can be a real downer sometimes. My dad's always busy, you know how it is.

So, get this. I ended up in this crazy argument with my old buddy today. And let me tell you, it was totally not my fault. Here's the lowdown on what went down...

I was just chatting with his girlfriend. She was the one who started the whole thing, I swear. Out of the blue, she goes all in for a kiss. I mean, it felt good in the moment, but it wasn't my thing, you know?

So I pull away, and bam! My buddy's right there, looking like he's about to blow a gasket. Like, seriously, dude? I didn't initiate the kiss.

But does he listen? Nah, he goes and throws a punch straight at my face. Tries to go for another one, but luckily, I dodge it. I'm just kept trying to explain and keep things from getting worse, but he wasn't having any of it.

And then he asked if I was scared. By then, a crowd had gathered, and I couldn't help but chuckle at his question. Me? Scared?

Honestly, I didn't want to harm him, but he seemed determined to stay and fight. That's why I decided to go for it. After all, he was the one who badly wanted me to.

Unfortunately, he ended up getting injured and is now at the nurse's place. I mean.. I never intended for things to go that far but come on, the situation wasn't entirely my fault!

In the midst of all these racing thoughts, I made the decision to try and sleep it off. I settled down on the couch, closed my eyes, and hoped for some much-needed rest. However, sleep seemed elusive as my mind continued to wander.

After what felt like an eternity, I finally managed to drift off. But just as I started to relax, my phone beeped, jolting me awake once again. It was only a Facebook notification, but it was enough to keep me wide awake.

Frustrated, I closed my eyes again, desperately trying to ignore any further distractions. But then, my phone chimed again, this time indicating a low battery. I reluctantly got up, connected the charger, and hoped that I could finally find some peace and quiet.

As if the day couldn't get any worse, a sudden headache struck me, throbbing with frustration. I couldn't help but think, "Ugh, this day is completely messed up."
