Trustfall

Pt. 3

I hand him the popcorn. He opens it, puts it in the microwave and starts it. He turn around and smiles. I stand very awkwardly, looking at the kitchen.

"So did you got a lot done?", Luca asks.
"Yeh, it was a lot. In which grade are you?"
"I'm a junior."
"Me too. In which grade is Sabrina?"
"12th. She is a year older then me."

"Can I ask you something?"
"Of course."
"Why did you move?"
He looks at me sad and broken.
"I'm sorry. It's not my place to ask that. You don't need to answer."
"It's okay. I got bullied pretty bad in my old school."
"Can I ask why?"
He leans down to his right leg and pulls his pant up. A huge scar, across his leg.
"I was in an accident. I have scars on my whole body. The worst is this one. It didn't fade like the other ones did."
He stands up again, dropping his pants.
"My classmates saw my scars and made fun of them."
"I'm sorry."
"You don't need to be."
"I'm. How can people be so cruel to such a good hearted person?"
He smiles. I go up to him and hug him.
"I won't judge you."
He hugs me back, laying his head on mine.
"Thank you."
I let go of him, as the popcorn stops popping.

"You can go into the living room. Down the hall the first door."
I walk down and walk into the living room.

I sit down next to Sabi. She looks up from her phone and smiles.
"That was the first time he told anyone, but us about the accident."
"Really?"
"Yes. He likes you very much."
I smile.
"Please don't hurt him."
"I don't wanna hurt anyone."
Luca comes in and hands me the bowl of popcorn.
"Feet up."
We lift our feet and Luca pulls out the couch. Sabi and I put our feet down and Luca sits next to me.
"Can I have a blanket?"
"Sure.", Sabi says and hands me one of the blankets.
I hand Luca the bowl and cover myself with the blanket. Luca puts the bowl on my crossed legs. Sabrina starts the movie and Luca dimms the light.

The movie is so amazing, I'm so drawn to it, that I don't even realize, Lucas Hand next to mine. I look at them as I feel the warmth of his and put my hand on his. He looks at me and smiles. We stay like that for the rest of the movie, we both look down to our hands every once in a while to check if this is real.

As the film is finished we chat about it. Our hands still touching. We talk about other stuff and get to know each other pretty well. Sabi and I love to paint and draw. We talked about the call and Luca and my similarities.

At Midnight I head home.
"Get home savely and text us when you're home.", Sabrina says and I nod.
"I will. See you at school tomorrow."
"See ya.", Sabi says.
"Bye", Luca adds.
I sit down and close the open car door. I drive home and smile as I had a wonderful day.

I text Sabrina, when I hear someone upstairs, coming down.
"Why are you all that smiley?", Seb asks.
"Nothing."
"Mhm"
He sits down next to me on my bed.
"It's the boy?"
"I won't talk to you about my life, Sebastian. Even when there is nothing."
"So there is something."
"No."
"Sure. Tell that yourself. Tell me when you need the house for yourself to fuck around in."
"Shut up."
He sits down next to me.
"But for reel. Do you like him?"
"I don't know."
"Look he seem like a nice guy and if your happy, I'm happy."
He smiles and I smile back.
"But don't get pregnant."
I hit him with my pillow.
"Shut up. You will pregnate Anna first."
He looks sad.
"Seb? I'm sorry, what is it? She isn't pregnant isn't she?"
"No! No. She can't get pregnant."
"Why?"
"She has a misbuild uterus."
"Shit. Sorry, Seb."
He just nods.
"I just... We have been together for four years now and... It's just a dream shattered."
I hug him.
"Can I ask how you found out?"
"She had really unusual bleedings so she went to the doc and he found it out."
"How is she with it?"
"She just called me and cried. I haven't seen her."
"You should see her. She needs you."
"But it's in the middle of the night."
"Go over. Be there for her."
He nods and gets up.
"Thanks."
He walks out and I lay in bed.

I'm playing the guitar as my phone rings. It's Seb. I pick up and I hear a sob.
"Seb?"
"She broke it off."
"What? Why?"
"Because she doesn't see a future if we can't have children."
I take a deep breath.
"Seb, go back there and show her how much you love her and that you don't care about the children. You love her too much to let her go."
"But.."
"No but. You have the same shimmer in your eyes as dad has when he sees mum. Seb get your girl and don't let go."
He hangs up.
"I take this as a yes."
I keep playing and my phone rings again. This time it's Luca.
"Hi?"
"Hi. Ummm I just wanted to say, that I liked the evening and I would love it you'd go to lunch with me tomorrow."
"Yes, sounds lovely."
"Meet me at the old town statue at 12?"
"Perfect. Where are we going?"
"It's a suprise"
"So it's a date."
"If you wanna call it that."
"Then it is one."
"Perfect, I see you tomorrow, Aria."
"See you tomorrow, Luca"
He hangs up and I smile.

I decide to go to sleep as Anna burst through the door. She hugs me.
"Thank you"
"For what?"
"That you told him to come back."
"You made up?"
"Yes. I was so sad that I pushed it to far."
"You apologized, so all good."
She smiled and got out.

I go to sleep, wiggling myself into my bed, before the sweet silence of the dreamland captures me.

I wake up in the middle of the night, sweaty and shivering. I can't breath normally and my heart flutters.

I had a nightmare again and I need someone.

I take my phone and call the first person.
"Hey.", Luca says.
I just cry and try to stablelise my breathing.
"Aria, are you okay?"
"Aria did something happen?"
"Tell me what I can do."
"Fuck it I'm coming."
"Open the door in five minutes. Don't hang up."
I slowly walk downstairs. My legs are wobbly and nearly give out, once or twice. As I am downstairs I realize that Luca is still talking to me.
"2 minutes."
I unlock the door
"Luca?"
"Yes?"
"I..."

Lucas P.O.V.:
"I..." I hear a loud thud and drive faster. As I get there I try open the door. It's unlocked. Aria lays on the floor, her phone next to her head. I pick her up and carry her to the couch. I lightly slap he cheek. She shoots up, breathing heavy and cring. I hug her and she cries even more. I pull her on my lap and hug her thight.
"Aria, listen to my voice. I'm here and I won't go till you are okay."
She pants out, opening and closing her mouth shaky.
"You don't need to say something."
She hugs me thighter.
"Aria, breath with me."
I take deep breaths but it only changes it slightly.
"Look at me."
She pushes her head even more into my shoulder.
"Look at me, Aria."
She slowly looks at me. I can see how much energy it drown from her.
"Breath with me."
I take deep breaths and she breaths shaking. After a few breaths it doesn't change a thing.
"Look into my eyes, baby."
She does. I just kiss her. She breaths out and stops shaking. I can feel how she lets herself slump on me. I want to pull away but she keeps me there by, putting her hand in my hair. I slowly put my tongue forward, it slips right into her open mouth. A shiver runs through her body as my tongue touches hers. Her tongue carefully starts playing with mine, as I hear her first breath. I put my hands into her neck and she slightly pulls on my hair. Our toungs play with each other and I feel how her hands travel down my spine.

Suddenly she pulls away and gets off me. She starts crying again.
"Hey."
I try to touch her, but she slaps my hand away.
"He will kill me."
"Who?"
She stays quiet.
"Aria, who? Who did this to you?"
"He... I can't say his name and he will hurt me if he finds out I kissed you."
I take her chin and make her look at me.
"What is he to you?"
"He is my ex."
"Did he hurt you?"
She looks away, this is the only answer I need.
"Can you say his name?"
She shakes her head.
"His last name?"
"Young."
"Gerald Young."
She starts shaking aggressively and her breath hitches.
"He is not here and will not find this out."
"He always did. He will come after you."
"Aria, look at me."
She does. I can see how she slightly relaxes.
"If he does, I'm ready. I won't give you up. You make me so goddam happy. I'm here for you."
She hugs me and cries again. I lay on my back and cover us with a blanket.
