Pt. 8

"Is anyone home?", I ask him.
"No. Sabrina is still in school and Mum and Dad are working."
I nod and kneel down again to cuddle with Skyla.
"Do you want to do something? Or just chill?", I ask him and look up at him.
"I like it when you look up at me like that."
"Oh zip it."
I slap his knee and he playfully hisses.
"Whatever you like princess."
"Luca I will head you."
"I hope so."
"No I meant.."
"Behead? Come on."
I grab the hand he is holding out for me and we head into the living room. Luca lays down and I lay on top of him. I prop my head on my folded hands on his chest as he crosses his behind his head. We just look at each other.
"I never realized the specks of dark blue in your eyes." I say and he just smiles.
Skyla jumps up and lays down on my back.

"Honey, I'm home!", his mum calls and drops her stuff.
"Livingroom.", Luca says and one minute later she leans in the door frame.

"Skyla, what are you doing up there?", she asks in a playful tone. I feel her lift her head.
"Why are you home already?"
"I couldn't survive any longer in the office. They were so annoying today."
"So you just went home?"
"I'm working from home."
"Makes sense."
"Did you have Lunch?"
"Jup."
"Perfect. You guys want some more? I haven't eaten all day and we won't eat something warm at dinner."
Luca turns to me
"You want something?"
"No thank you."
"I would just heat up lasagna.", his mum says.
"And Mr. Bulky?"
"Yes, please, mum. Thanks."
"I will tell you when it is ready."
She walks out and I look at Luca.
"Mr. Bulky?"
"A stupid nickname."
I lean down to his arms and kiss along his biceps.
"I like it. Mr. Bulky knows what his girl needs."
"I know what my woman wants."

"Luca did you feed Skyla?"
"Not yet."
"Okay."
As Skyla hears her bowl, she runs off.

I smile and feel Lucas hands moving towards my hips.
"What are you doing?"
He stops at my waist and looks at me. He wraps his arms around me.
"What are you doing?"
"You need a hug?"
"Can you let go now?"
"Do you feel better?"
"No"
"Than it hasn't kicked in yet" (*)
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Kids food is ready."

We get up and walk into the kitchen.
After Luca and his mum ate, Luca and I head upstairs.
"Imma head into the bathroom."
"Sure, second door to your left."

I lean on the sink, taking deep breaths. I just look at myself, barely recognizing myself. My knees give out. I fall to the floor, sitting up.
I hear a knock on the door.
"Aria? Are you alright?"
"Yes, just give me a minute."
"Aria, open the door please."
"No! Nonononono!"
"Baby, its be, Luca."
"Get away! Don't hurt me!"
"Aria, please."

Lucas's P.O.V.:
She goes to the bathroom. Minutes go by. I hear a thud. I knock on the door.
"Aria? Are yu alright?"
"Yes, just give me a minute."
"Aria, open the door please."
"No! Nonononono!"
"Baby, its be, Luca."
"Get away! Don't hurt me!"
"Aria, please."
"Nooo. Don't come near me, Gerald."
I lean on the door. She is hallucinating.
"Hey, beautiful. It's me Luca. I took you on a date yesterday. We ate lunch together today. We watched a movie with my sister."
"Get away, Gerald."
I grab the nob and turn it. It's open. I open the door and slowly go inside. She is sitting on the floor.

I sit down against the bathtub.
"Aria."
"Get away."
I touch her hand and she pulls it away immediately. I grab my phone and call Seb, who gave me his number after Rinas accident.
"Yes?"
"Did Aria ever hallucinate?"
"Yes, once, why?"
"I think she is hallucinating."
"Fuck. Send me your adress."
I send it to him.
"I'll be there in 5 minutes. Keep near but keep space."
"Okay."

Five Minutes later the door rings. Aria flinches. Mum opens the door and Seb tells her that he is a friend of mine and wants to see me. I hear him walking upstairs.
"Third door."
He comes in and sees his sister.
"What happend?"
"She went into the bathroom then I heard a thud and then she screamed at me that I should go away."
"Okay."
"Hey, sis."
"Seb?"
"Aria, I am right here. Who else is here?"
"I... I... Don't you see him?"
"Aria can you do me a favor and look into my eyes?"
She looks into his eyes. Her eyes are red and puffy.
"Can you do me a favor and look into his?"
"No. Seb don't make me do this."
I sit down next to Seb.
"Aria, can you please look at him. I know it is hard to understand but you will as soon as you look at him."
"Seb he will hit me if I do."
"I would never punch you. Never think I would be like that."
"Lu...Luca?"
"Aria, look at me."
She looks into my eyes.
"Luca.", she says hugging me. I hold her tight.
"I'm here."
"Where is he?"
"He was never here.", Seb says.
"What but I heard him."
"You heard me.", I say.
"Can you remember when the same thing happend with dad, shortly after you broke up with him?"
"Yes?"
"You were hallucinating. We later found out that this is a kind of panik attack."
"What? And.."
"We never told you because we thought it was a one time thing."
"Seb... I..."
"I know it's a lot."
"Seb?"
"Yes?"
"I think it is time."
"Are you sure?"
"Seb, this is driving me crazy the attacks and the hallucinations."
"I don't wanna interrupt but what is going on?"
"I will get in a psychiatric institution."
I just look at her.
"I know but I can't live like that anymore."
I nod.
"If it makes you feel better, I support it."
