Chapter 10

It's November 4th and it's my first G League game. I'm too excited. I'm just ready to get this season over with so I can go to the NBA, but we're not gonna rush this experience.

"Baby you got everything?" Jaden yelled from upstairs

"You better not be yelling with my son in your hands" i yelled back

"I actually didn't have him but now i do" she said coming down the stairs

"I do got everything though. I'll see you later though?" i said going up to her giving her a kiss

"Yes baby, i wouldn't miss it for the world" she said as she gave me one of her kisses

I arrive at the stadium and I instantly see Todd.

"What it do JG4" he said dapping me up

"Just life, can't complain" i said smiling

"How's the little one?" He asked as we went to go put our shoes on

"He's such a good baby, its crazy how much he's already grown" i said tying my shoe

"That's good man, enjoy it. Life is gonna hit you like a brick when he starts going to school" he said laughing

"I'm already knowing man" i laughed as i tied my other shoe

*After the game*

The game went well. We won by 12. So it was a nice little dub. I'm currently leaving the locker room after I took a shower. Coach was telling us we need to work on our plays more because we looked sloppy and he really thinks we should have lost that one. I did my part, now I need to get my team to play their part. I'm not vocal all the time, but when someone needs some encouragement or even when I feel like someone isn't doing the best that I think they can do, that's when I say something. I'm still working on being a leader on and off the court with my teammates. I'm a newbie to this team so i dont wanna step on anybody's toes, but at the same time i wanna win. I'll do anything to win.

"J you played so well!" Jaden said as she waited in the tunnel for me

"Thanks babe. I'm glad you guys could make it" i said as i hugged her

"You know we wouldn't miss this" she said as she passed me Carri

"Hey man. You seen daddy play?" i said as i kissed Carris cheek

All he could do was smile. My baby just turned 2 months. He's still so new its crazy, like i'm really a dad. I really had a baby with the love of my life

"Are you hungry? You wanna go eat somewhere?" Jaden asked as we walked out the arena

"Can we go to ihop?" i asked her and she smiled

"Ohhh i want some pancakes" she smiled

"Okay, lets go" i said as i opened the back door to put Carri in the car

"But I only had 2 pancakes. I know i ain't gonna eat 4" she laughed as she got in the back with the baby

"Mama what??" i laughed as i looked at her

"Well we both know i ain't gonna eat them all. Im finally realizing my head is bigger than my stomach" she laughed

"Okay babe" i said as i started the car

"Can you put on Bryson Tiller? Actually no, put on Giveon. That's my man right now" she said as she was looking at her phone

"Don't play Jaden" i said as i looked in the mirror to see her in the back
