Chapter 3

"Good morning my love" I said whispering and kissing Jadens cheek

"Hi baby" she mumbled

"When did you get the baby?" i asked her cause the baby was in the middle

"He wouldn't stop crying unless he laid with us" she said with her eyes closed

""I was knocked out i didn't even hear him" i said

"I know" she said

Then the baby started moving

"Stop talking" she whispered

Then he stopped moving

"Ima go make food" i said

I went downstairs and I just made some french toast and that was it.

I went back upstairs and Jaden was knocked. I grabbed the baby and went back downstairs with him.

I got practice in a little, fuck.

A couple minutes later Jaden came downstairs

"I can't go back to sleep" she said sitting down next to me

"Come here" i said as i moved a pillow so she can lay her head on my lap

"Where are you gonna put the baby?" she asked

"Ima hold him" i said

She laid down and closed her eyes

I started getting ready for practice. The baby and Jaden were asleep downstairs still. I hate leaving them. I'm only going to be gone for 2 hours which isn't bad, but still i want them around me all the time.

"You're leaving baby?" Jaden said slowly getting up from the couch

"Yeah baby" i said

"Be safe getting there and while practicing. I love you." she said as she laid back down

I went over and kissed her

"I love you more" i said as i kissed her forehead

Then I kissed the baby.

"I love you Daddy's baby" i whispered

With that i was out the door

Getting to the practice gym, I was excited. I'm always excited walking into those doors. All the stress, doubt, worries, etc leave.

"Wassup J" Coach Hill said

"Yo" i yelled

"Loud ass nigga for what?" he said

"Just excited" i laughed

The rest of the team was either putting their shoes on, shooting around, or just on their phones.

"Alright, plays" Coach yelled

"Coach, we know them. We've been going over them for 2 weeks now. Lets get conditioned or something" Justin said

"Just for that, baseline" Coach yelled

"Really bro?" i asked

We had to do frogs, then run up and down the court 12 times, did 30 laps, lastly we did full court layups.

That shit was just because Justin said we should condition.

"Now to condition" Coach said

"We just did" Justin said
