Chapter 8

Jalen Green

"Thats it babe" i said coming in with the last box

"Okay good" Jaden said sitting on the floor

"We do need to put the furniture inside though" i said sitting next to her

"Cant you and Josh do that?" she said looking at me

"I mean i can ask if they have movers. They should, right?" i said

"They should, i don't see why they wouldn't" she said as she leaned her head on me

"Im glad im doing all this with you" she said

"I am too baby" i said as i kissed her head

"I have a game this friday" i said

"OMG YES! I've been waiting" She said as she got up

"Yeah im excited" i said smiling

She started moving boxes

"What you doing bebe" i said as i got up

"I want the house to be done and ready to go" she said as she went up stairs with a box

"Babe is that box light?" i said as i grabbed it from her

"Yes babe, im fine" she said as she took the box back

"I'm just making sure babe" i said

She started hanging up her clothes into the walk in closet and then put her shoes in there too

"We got a big ass closet" she said

"I mean you have a lot of clothes and i have a lot" i said as i started hanging up my clothes

"Babe who's here?" she asked me

"Huh?" i looked at her crazy

"You didn't hear the doorbell?" she said as she left

"Oh hi" i heard jaden say

Who she talking too

"Babe we have movers" she said as i came down the stairs

"Thats crazy cause we were just talking about calling to see if we could get some" she

"All the furniture is in the truck still?" they asked

She just nodded

"Thank you guys" i said as they started walking towards the truck

"Well that's a lot of weight lifted off my shoulders" Jaden said as she walked to the steps and sat down

"Off your shoulders? You weren't even going to help, you wanted me and Josh to do it" i laughed as i sat in front of her

"Yeah whatever" she said as she kissed me

Later that day

"I love it" she said as she was walking around the house.

We had just finished decorating the house with all the color schemes. Finished the kitchen,bedrooms, and bathrooms.

"It looks great babe" i said as i hugged her

"Okay we need to go get my baby, i miss him" she said as she got the keys to the car

We had got into the car and were on our way to my moms house.

"Babe you can slow down. We're going to see him" i laughed as i put my seat belt on

"I know i just haven't seen him since yesterday" she said as she started going speed limit

"You want to go get food first? We haven't ate all day" i said

"After we pick the baby up" she said

My mom doesn't live far from us, so we got there in a good amount of time.

"Hey mama, hi my baby" Jaden said as we reached the door

"Hi mom" i said as i got to the door

"Hey babies" she said smiling as she gave the baby to Jaden

"I missed him so much" Jaden said

Back at the house

"So this is your room" Jaden said as she took the baby to the nursery room

"Babe he's so little, his eyes are barely open. He doesnt know whats going on" I said laughing

"He knows what's going on leave him alone" she said as she continued

I went downstairs to watch a movie

"What are you watching?" J said coming and sitting next to me

"Juice" i said as she cuddled with me

"Where's the baby?" i asked her

"He's in the crib" she said as she was on her phone

Then I saw Anthony pop up on her phone. She's still talking to him and she didn't tell me anything. I'm not mad, but she usually tells me when they are friends again.

"You guys are friends again?" i asked her

"Bebe get out of my phone" she laughed

"I'm not mad, it's just you normally tell me when you guys are cool again." i said as i looked back at the tv

"Yeah he had dmd me about the baby saying congratulations today." she said as she was typing on her phone

I didn't even say anything. I trust her. I'm not worried about anything.

Then the baby started crying.

"I got him" i said as i got up

I got to him and picked him up. He instantly stopped crying.

"You're a faker, you just wanna be held huh" i said smiling at him

I didn't even go back downstairs i went into my room with the baby

"Man, I already know youre going to have all the girls." i smiled

I really went half on this baby. He's literally the cutest thing ever. I changed him and just held him as I just stared at him. He's so perfect it's crazy. I still can't believe that this is a human. I still haven't processed me having a baby.

Jaden August

I went into my room and I just saw Jalen staring at the baby.

"You still wonder how that was in me?" i smiled

"Yeah basically. Hes perfect" he said not looking at me

"Are you mad babe?" i asked

"No, I'm not love. Just a little confused on why you didn't tell me. You know I understand your guys' relationship. You shouldn't have been scared to tell me or anything. I just don't want you to start hiding things from me." He said finally looking at me

"Im sorry babe. I think it was because i haven't talked to him in a minute so i got excited. That's my childhood best friend right there." i said as i sat next to him

"You're good ma. Its okay" he said

"You want me to make dinner?" i asked him

He looked at me so fast and nodded

"Okay" i said and laughed as i walked out the room
