I can't believe this story is finally finished.

Mattheo and Emma will always hold a special place in my heart. From the very beginning, I knew how their story would end. It all started with a simple daydream: what if Mattheo Riddle fell in love with Harry Potter's twin sister, and what would happen if he had to watch her die during the Battle of Hogwarts? That single thought stayed with me, growing into a story I couldn't stop thinking about. Before I knew it, that little idea had become a thirty one chapter novel filled with love, loss, friendship, sacrifice, and some of the most beloved characters I've ever had the privilege of writing.

As heartbreaking as it was to write their ending, I am so grateful that I got to tell their story.

Emma and Mattheo became so much more than characters to me. They became family. They made me laugh, cry, and occasionally stare at my screen wondering why I was emotionally destroying myself for fictional people. Their journey has lived in my head and my heart for so long that saying goodbye feels far more difficult than I expected.

More than anything, I hope you fell in love with them the way I did. I hope their story stayed with you long after you finished reading. I hope you laughed with them, cried with them, and felt every ounce of love they carried for each other and for the people around them.

I am endlessly thankful for every single comment, vote, message, and word of encouragement I've received while writing this book. The love and support you have shown me throughout this journey has meant more than I can possibly put into words. Thank you for cheering me on, for screaming with me, crying with me, and loving these characters as fiercely as I do.

While I am incredibly sad to close this chapter, I am also excited for the stories still waiting to be told. There are so many characters I can't wait to introduce you to and so many adventures still ahead.

For my Draco lovers, I have a fanfiction called Nevermore. It is still ongoing, and I truly believe it will be every bit as tragically beautiful as this story.
