It took quite some time for the group to catch up with the fired up red head as she aimlessly tried to make her way out of the carnival and attempt to find her way through the forest. Her attempt, of course, had failed and the Slenderman soon found and caught her. There then followed the rather hectic scene of dragging her back to the mansion, taking nearly several of Slenderman's tendrils to keep her thrashing to a minimal. Both Nex and Claudia had tried in vain to calm her down, menwhile Jeff and the monochrome clown following behind, Jeff having a good laugh at all the fussing.
"Ahahaha! Ah, come on now Red, you dont wanna spend the rest of your life with our awesome little family?" he teased, watching the woman thrash in the tendrils.
"Piss off!" she spat as she tried to writhe out of the tendrils.
Jeff was about to speak again before he was caught by another whack to his chest from Nex who gave him a glare.
"Jeff! Shut up, you're making it worse!" she scolded. Jeff grumbled something but remained relatively quiet the rest of the walk.
When they reached the mansion, Slenderman stepped inside first, sitting the red head down as the rest filed in. Claudia and Nex stood beside their friend, Jeff and Jack were over by the door. Valene was still ranting and yelling many profanities as Masky entered the room, looking at the scene with his head tilted to one side. Slenderman sat his hand on Masky's shoulder and through his voice spoke louder and more sternly towards the ranting woman.
"THAT IS ENOUGH!" he bellowed, causing the woman to stop her fit but still stand there with her arms folded across her chest. The Slenderman seemed to sigh a relief now that she was silent before speaking again. "Now, child, I know this is not your idea of a comprimise, but you three were brought here thanks to my nearly incompitent proxy and leaving isnt an option." he said. There was a scoff from Jeff by the door.
"Hey! I didn't tell them to follow me!" he protested, causing Slenderman to face him.
"Yes, but it is YOUR fault they did! To think, a cold hearted killer like you couldn't finish off three little girls." Slenderman replied in irritation.
Jeff's face seemed to flourish a bit red and he made a grunt. "Bitches ganged up on me..." he mumbled.
"Yes...well..." Slenderman faced Valene again. "Now that there is no going back on these events, and what's happened has happened, instead of killing you, I agreed to let you three live. Under a few conditions of course." he said as Claudia placed a hand on his arm. "You are allowed to go back to keep up the normal appearance of your daily lives and avoid suspicion, but you must return to the mansion before midnight. You will be our links to the outside world, since it takes a great deal of energy to hide our true selves from humans. You will fetch us what we need and take care of the mansion when you are here—"
"We will not be your maids!!" Valene hissed.
Suddenly, a tendril wrapped around her throat and she was lifed into the air, choking and gasping as the slenderman loomed over her.
"You will do as I have stated or it will be your life you trade for it." he growled.
Claudia made a small gasp and quickly tugged at his arm, Nex standing by her with her hands over her mouth.
"Slendy please! You promised!" she said to him with the sweetest of tones.
The Slenderman looked down at her and seemed to relax a bit. He then released his hold on Valene's throat, causing her to drop and cough a bit on the floor. Nex went over to help her up and dust her off as Slenderman continued to speak.
