"It always goes back to the original. History repeats itself, always."

The two groups of friends sat around and talked starting to get to know each other seeing as they have a person in common. Mark and Sidney left some time ago knowing that their daughter was in good hands and in good spirits.

That was until a doctor came in requesting to send Tara for more tests and by default that meant Sam was going to go with her because she wasn't ready to leave her sisters' side.

"We'll be back." Sam turned to Carmen who watched the girl move towards the door. With a nod of her head Sam left the room leaving the friends with Carmen.

"Tara's really sweet, I can see why you talk about her all the time." Lily says redirecting Carmen's attention back to the rest of the room.

"She's one of the best people I know." Carmen sadly states as she thinks about Dewey. He was the best person Carmen knew. He was selfless, caring, kind, helpful, he was everything a good person was. It's so hard to believe that a man like that is gone.

"What exactly happened?" Skeet asks bluntly, receiving a smack on the back of the head by Maxwell. Unknowingly, Carmen flinched at the question, it was still an open wound like the ones on her body.

"You can't just ask questions like that fuck head." Maxwell scolds.

Carmen rolls her eyes at the two, "It's fine to ask, I knew the questions would be coming." She admits out loud for the first time. Her mind was riddled with the future and what things would possibly come and that question was one of them.

"You don't have to answer babe." Nico speaks up gripping Carmen's hand in his. "We understand it'll be hard." He rubs his thumb over her smooth skin and the movement relaxes the muscles in her body.

Carmen looks around the room at each of their faces and can see the begging question in all of them. What happened? She couldn't truly answer the question, it was all so raw. She could still feel the knife slicing into her skin and the pounding of her heart as she ran around the house. All the emotions were still very present. But she also knew that no matter if she was healthy or not she was going to have to answer the longing question of what happened.

Squeezing Nico's hand she pulled it from his grasp and pulled the hand to her body and onto her lap. If she was going to tell some of the story then she couldn't have anyone's hands on her.

"The day before I left," she began and all the eyes in the room focused all their attention onto her. "Tara was attacked by someone in her home. They didn't know who because Tara was still in bad shape but that was until she finally came through. It was someone in a Ghostface mask meaning that another killer was making their debut." Carmen's hand began to tap on her leg in an uneven pattern and everyone noticed.
