"We should do this more often dude!" Mikey laughed, walking backwards into the lair.

Raph followed after him chuckling to himself. Shaking his head as he smiled. Seeing them both so close made me smile to myself too. I knew there was something going on with Raph, but if I was the one asking I'd either get shoved aside or punched in the shoulder. With a lame insult like "nerd" or something. Mikey was the best choice.

"Thanks for the training master splinter. I'll be in my lab if you need me."

"Very well Donatello, you enjoy your studies. I look forward to hearing about your newest discoveries later." Master splinter smiled, then slightly bowed.

I bowed back and ran off to my lab. I noticed that Leo still hadn't left the dojo. I stopped and turned around, looking through a slit, I saw Leo sitting on the ground from before. Splinter was walking towards him.

"Leonardo. Do you wish to continue training? I see you are still here while your brothers are outside."

"Master splinter, how can I lead when my team doesn't listen to me? Maybe you should make Raph leader." sighing, Leo got up from the floor.

"Perhaps. But whether you feel like a leader or not, you will remain the leader of this team." Splinter said, gripping his walking stick tighter.

"But, you saw how the guys all reacted! Raphael would literally kill me to be the leader! The only one who even slightly listened to me was Donnie! How am I supposed to lead a team that doesn't respect me? Then they go and blame this whole thing on me?!" Leo yelled, stepping forward.

"Leonardo. You need to learn. The role you hold makes you responsible for whatever your team does. So if Raphael gets in trouble, you will be responsible. If Mikey screws up, you take the blame. Now, let's continue training. From now on, you will train twice as hard as your brothers." Splinter said, guiding Leo back towards the center of the Matt.

"Hai, sensei. If that is my duty. I will do my best." Leo said defeated.

Leo was right. We didn't respect him. To us, he was our butt kissing brother. He would do whatever it took to get splinters approval.

I let out a sigh. Turning around, I started towards my lab. Next time we went above ground, I vowed to try and listen to Leo. Maybe I could convince Mikey to listen to Leo too.

At this point, the whole day had gone by. Now it was sunset above ground. This was like the turtle's alarm clock. Since this was the only time they could go out without being spotted.

"Come on guys, it's time to go above ground." Leo said, stretching.

Leo had spent more than three hours training with master splinter after their conversation. He looked exhausted.I grabbed my bow staff, Mikey already had his nunchucks, and Raph was already down the tunnel with his sais.

"Remember, you all have to look out for each other.Leonardo, don't make the same mistake as last time." Splinter said.

Leonardo nodded, he then turned around and started walking towards the tunnel. Making our way through the winding old brick tunnels, we were silent. The only sounds that could be heard were our feet, and the sloshing of sewage. Eventually, we made it to the surface.

"So what should we do?" I asked, glancing at Leo.

"Well, I think we should go see April. She said that she worked with that ooze that mutated us into this." Raph said, crossing his arms.

"I agree with Raph. But first we need to find her. Donnie, do you think you could get her address?" Leo said, taking a step towards Donnie.

"Yeah, that should be easy!" I turned on my tablet, then I searched up April O'Neal. Next I narrowed it down by only those who were scientists that live in New York. And Bingo!
