"If only he was here..." She said. Meep asked "What was that?" She quickly responded. "Huh? Oh, nothing!" As the group shopped for their Thanksgiving party, she hoped that she could see him once again.
[December 1 (Present Date), Kat's Training Grounds, 10:09 A.M]
As Kat went through her daily training session with Leo, Hunter and Mizuki watched her. Occasionally, Kat would randomly have the hiccups that lasted for 5-10 seconds. "Jeez. Monkey wasn't kidding when he said the effect is longer." Said Hunter, lazily leaning back on the rocks. He then yawned. "Why the heck does she have to train here. There's a freaking waterfall with fresh water all around us. We could have had a swimming party if she wasn't always occupying it." Mizuki turned her head to him. "You think you should talk about that in this month? The climate is already getting colder. Better think of bringing a coat." A few minutes after they watched Kat brawl with Leo, they all heard footsteps on gravel. When they turned to see who it was, Railey and Monkey appeared in their sights. "Hello Monkey, Railey." Greeted Mizuki. Kat just waved in the distance with a great smile and continued training. Hunter was too tired to stand up or turn around. He simply raised his hand and dropped it when he thought they saw it. "So, what are you two doing here?" Monkey replied. "Well, first of all, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME WE HAD A NEW GUILD HALL?! I WENT TO VISIT YOU GUYS BUT THE PLACE LOOKED LIKE YOU'VE JUST BEEN THRASHED!" Mizuki widened her eyes a bit. "Really? I thought Hunter already told you, given that he's seen you more times than us. I'll show you the guild hall later." Monkey sighed in grief. "Anyways," he said. "We heard that Kat recently butterflied someone right? We came to ask her how and why she did so instead of just capturing the man." They looked at Kat in the distance. They barely heard her hiccups, and she was overwhelming Leo a bit. "Hold on Monkey," said Railey. "I'll be right back." Railey disappeared in a flash, leaving no trace but the wind in the direction he went in. They continued the discussion. "So, is Kat still under the effect?" "Yes, but not as much. The only thing that still lingers are the frequent hiccups..." Railey reappeared instantly. "Hey-o! Back!" He was holding a bottle of wine, holding it up and showing it to them. "...What do you think you're doing, Master of Illusions? If anything happens to Kat, so help me I will-" Railey completely ignored her and went straight after Kat. When he reappeared right in front of Kat, she turned to him. The bottle was open, dripping out wine. "Cheers!" he said. He shoved the bottle into her mouth. She didn't have enough time to react to stop herself from drinking it. When Railey retracted the bottle, Mizuki became furious. Alas, she was held back by Monkey. "Just watch. Railey isn't just doing this for fun." he said.
"Wh... *HIC* Whyyyy *HIC* arrrrreeee you doooiiinggggggg th- *HIC* thissss?..." Kat became drunk yet again. "Heeeee- *HIC* -eeey... wannnna *HIC* have a friendlyyyyyy comp- *HIC* competitiooooon?.... Heheheeeeeeeee..." Kat quickly wooshed around the area at high speeds. Railey smiled. "Interesting! You have the lust to kill whenever you're drunk!" Without even turning to Kat, he blocked her charge attack with his gigantic blade. All of them, even Hunter, were amazed at this hidden talent Kat had. Mizuki tried to make it sound illogical. "What... the princess of the royal throne of Ocelo... strengthens with alcohol?!"
[Teal Wisps' Guild Hall, 3:33 P.M]
"WOAH. KAT IS A PRINCESS?! WITH DRUNKY POWERS TOO?!?!" exclaimed Meep and Shiloh, completely surprised at the double-stacker. They turned their heads to Kat, who was sound asleep on the guild comforters. As Mizuki explained the details to the other two girls, Hunter, Monkey, and Zombie were chatting on the far right guild tables. "Seriously, I never expected Kat to have this." said Zombie. Monkey replied back. "I just can't believe I ate my own words. The irony that she does get stronger when she's drunk." "Well, everyone has their quirks," implied Hunter. "For Zombie, it's his mana sword. And for you, it's the Railey-sized sword." "Monkey-sized sword" he corrected. "I forged that sword with my blood, sweat, and tears. It's the pride of my smitheries." "Riiiight... so you didn't just copy his specialties..." "Gah, whatever Hunter..." Later in their conversation, everyone in the guild hall heard a loud crash. Everything started to rumble. "W-What the?! What's going on?!" worried Meep. "Let's check out what's outside." suggested Zombie to the other two boys. Soon enough, everyone headed out to the guild. All but Kat, who was anticlimactically sleeping through all of it. The rumbling was still continuing. They all looked around to see if it did any good. No luck. They then split into groups and searched around the town for anything. It seems that the rumbling has decreased in intensity once the boys passed half of the local markets area. After a while of searching, they heard an extreme roar, one of which sounded like a mighty dragon. "What... was that?" asked Shiloh curiously. Mizuki gave the look of discern. "Let's regroup with the boys. I have a feeling something major is about to approach..." she said. They nodded in agreement, with their priorities on the finding the other half of the group now. As they were finding the boys however, they noticed something from the skies. "...What's that?" Asked Meep, looking and pointing towards the skies. The other responded and looked up as well. Though the bright sunlight obscured their vision, Mizuki could spot it enough. "It looks like..." It fell and an incredible speed as it made its decent to the ground. "...An egg?" They all noticed that it was gigantic, and that it would crush them if they were to stand still. "Oh no! Run!" They ran out of the landing spot, but it was too large for them to escape. Mizuki, who had an enhancement of speed, decided to grab them and hoisted them on her shoulders like bean bags. "Hold on tight." As she rushed out of the shadow of impact, the weight and pressure was too much. Eventually, she wore out and dropped to the ground. "Wh- Aaaah!" The eyes of the 3 girls shut tightly. Shiloh covered her face.
